We were eager to try Blue Fin based on ratings and menu. I told our server at the outset that we had a 7PM show across the street. She nodded and I assumed we were all good with our hour and 15 minutes to eat. We ordered a roasted cauliflower and kale salad (delicious), sea bass bites (4 tiny pieces for $22 - good but not worth the price) and 2 sushi rolls. I watched as everyone else around us got their food. Our server kept looking over so I assumed she was on top of it. At 6:40, we still did not have our sushi rolls. Our server said, "Oh, do you have a show?" There is no excuse for not listening to a customer. At 6:45 PM, we could not wait any longer. Who wants to rush to eat in 5 minutes? I asked for the sushi rolls to be removed from our bill and we did not get to eat our dinner before the show. I see a lot of shows and live in NY. Seeing all of the other tables around you get served while the clock ticks is unwelcome. We won't be back.

It took about an hour to get our food. The staff that delivered it mixed up our sushi rolls even after we asked which one was which. So we didn’t figure out til the end that we ate the other’s chosen roll. But they were both very good and worth the wait.

Food was excellent! Roasted Bacon and Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers. Ribeye steak, Lobster Fried Rice, Mac & Cheese, Magic Dragon and Blue Fin sushi rolls for entrées were all Chef’s kiss! Our server Garriel Reyes was the best! And of course the ambience and music selection was great! Always choose to be seated on the 2nd floor booth. One of our family’s go-to whenever we’re in Manhattan.

Our server was great all the food we ordered was delicious from the oysters and sushi and all the cooked food. It was quiet because the theatre crowd was already gone at 7 pm which was nice since we had a large party and had pretty much a private room to ourselves!

The floor was so sticky and covered with what looked like new years confetti. It’s never like that so maybe the rugs were being cleaned? The food was wonderful as always. Great service and the best non alcoholic mojito I have ever had.

Food was terrible… calamari mushy, crab legs had spikes… yes SPIKES, couldn’t even hold them with getting hands poked. Filet was not that good, and well over $400 for two meals. Server was great though

Very nice selection of seafood, steak, and sushi. Food was good but not exceptional. Ordered a Rainbow roll which was very good followed by the salmon entree which was overcooked. My friend ordered the Miso Sea Bass which was very nice. Blue Fin is a good option if it's close to where you are going or staying.
