I enjoyed my time dining at this restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. I would dine at this restaurant if I visit NYC again in the future. The best sushi I had while I was vacationing in NYC.

Fantastic job and keep up the great work!

Our server had a trainee with him so that might have been the cause of the delay, but it's still no excuse. We waited 30 plus minutes to get our drinks (they sold out of the bottle of sake we wanted and the beer we wanted). Then it took another 35 minutes to get our appetizers. They probably wanted us to get our drinks first before they put in the food order...bad judgement call as we had kids with us. The table next to us (different server) was already drinking and eating within 15 minutes of sitting down and they were seated after we already gave our orders. I gave the service 3 stars because after we complained, the service was outstanding. As much as I enjoyed the food, I would only go back if somebody else suggested we go or if I have 3 plus hours to kill for dinner.

It was busy, but I would expect that for a restaurant in Times Square. We were heading to a show, so the slow service was a real distraction during the meal. Food was okay, but not amazing.

Would not go back.

We had brunch here before a matinee and were very impressed. We assumed, based on the location, that it would be a tourist trap but we couldn’t have been more wrong. The complimentary Bloody Mary was a nice touch and we were impressed by the menu selection. My husband said the sushi was really fresh and the egg bowls were creative and tasted great. We would definitely eat here again

Very nice restaurant. Fresh oysters were great. Shrimp cocktail not so good. Excellent paella. I would go back, but not order the shrimp cocktail.

We had a great time. HOWEVER, I received a "no show " message. We were there, we didn't cancel or were a no show. I would like to get my points for this visit. We spent 156.00!

Fantastic evening at Blue Fin, we started with 4-5 delicious appetizers and shared a seafood pot entree. Best way to sample all the different flavors of this restaurant.

We went for a pre-theatre meal and the service was excellent. Kendra is a wonderful customer service oriented professional.

The food was tasty and the drinks were strong.

My only real gripe is that we were seated at a terrible table in a back back corner of the restaurant. I get that open table tables arent that great, but this was absurd.

Last experience was a little disappointing than many other visits before. It was v-day and reservations were made two weeks in advance. We were probably first ten tables to be seated which means most of the restaurant was empty. They sat us on non-cushioned uncomfortable chairs of a tiny table of two when most of the tables & booths were empty. They fixed this for us upon request. Service was lacking smile, pleasantness and interest. Server was there to just “do her job” and was very upfront. Felt super rushed out within an hour with 3 course meal and drinks. Needless to say this was not a good choice to celebrate v-day unfortunately. For these prices I expect at least a service with a smile if not anything else! Food was ok as expected so not much complains there.

Restaurant was not busy, tables were un- bussed and the dining room was messy and not tidy. The server was nice but did not regularly check on us and seemed to have way too many tables, or all of the tables , to serve. Food was good, nothing special. Martini’s were not cold enough. Restaurant is convenient to theatres , which is great.

Ambience is the best part of this experience. Food and drinks were great too but the service is touristy and not to NYC fine standards. Better for upscale everyday dining

Great food and service. My wife and I went there for my birthday and first when we walked in there from the street level that the place is small, but the second floor is huge.

Located right in Times Square this hidden gem! Arriving early for our reservation, we were seated quickly and enjoyed the vibrant ambience and tantalizing aromas. Excellent Sushi and seafood fare at the Blue Fin! Service was excelllent and the fare exquisite.

Food was decent. This may be obvious, but always go with the Seafood options Here! Had serious food envy when my date ordered the Salmon and I ordered the steak. Steak was decent, but the Salmon was fantastic!

They sat us near the door which wasn't great since it was freezing outside.

Overall experience was ok, not amazing.

Went during restaurant week 2018. The mushroom soup was good (solid and tasty, but just regular good soup, nothing special), the Faroe Island Salmon was well cooked and tasty, but the beans under the fish were hard and spiced not to my liking. I want to say the beans were fava, but they were crunchy, which seemed odd. I told my server. Kendra, who replaced it with plain steamed broccoli. Not exactly foodie worthy and definitely not special at all. The chocolate dessert was good, but again not special.

Our party of four all chose from the Restaurant Week menu. The hanger steak was perfectly prepared. The ladies fish choices also were flavorful and the portions were large.

Started out with a Californication Roll an Affair cocktail and some Chardonnay. Followed by Butternut Squash and Lobster bisque soup. Split the Halibut dinner with my daughter. It was Fantastic. Added some Lobster mashed potatoes and broccoli. No room for Dessert. Prices are a bit high but we went for a 21 st Birthday celebration so over a nice evening!!
