Great and innovative options. Ming never disappoints!
Was in town with family for the holidays. There was an extremely loud group seated next to us who were constantly shouting and we couldn’t hold a conversation with each other without getting interrupted by their shouting. We said something to the host eventually and asked to get moved, but we couldn’t get a different table. So we asked politely to the group to please keep the noise level down a little, and they were extremely rude and somehow got louder for the rest of the meal. On our way out they yelled profanities at us and though I enjoyed the food it was such an unpleasant experience I can’t imagine going back anytime soon.
Very friendly, quick service, great food!!
Server was very helpful and pleasant, and made sure we order the right amount of food for two.
Food was excellent.
The room was full.
The crowd was varied and upbeat.
We enjoyed ourselves.
Amazing flavours! We shared several small plates - wontons, hummus, etc. Great flavours!
I love this place, food is great and up until yesterday service has been great.
Server seemed off and not on top of the tables during lunch, not the usual for this place..
Loved blue dragon! Ming was in the house, walked around to different tables to ask how their experience was going. The food is completely unique and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for a casual bite or date night!
Amazing place with staff that went out of their way to accommodate my kids nut and sesame allergies. Very difficult for us to eat out, so this place gets high marks. Owner even greeted us at the table to ensure what was safe for the kids. Food was excellent as was ambiance. Will certainly be back
Great good, drinks and atmosphere! We were even able to meet and talk to Ming as he delivered our food to the table!
Food delicious and fun atmosphere. We even saw chef Ming Tsai while leaving and it is always wonderful to know that the executive chef is paying attention!
What an awesome place. Neat building, great location, incredible food...
Great experience! The service and food were top-notch.
Love this place. Great food. Great place for a work lunch.
Had a lovely meal. I have some dietary restrictions (gluten and lactose sensitivity) and they were courteous, understanding and accommodating to my needs. Ah yes, cocktails were excellent as well.
High quality ingredients and very flavorful meal. Will be going back for sure.
perfect place for a group who likes to share. We will be back
We are regulars , love the food and are so accommodating for those with food allergies. Our server Sara who we have had several times is just awesome. Also located in a fun section of Boston.
Too loud. Mediocre service
Delicious food and not too expensive! I highly recommend the steak, sliders, and any of the noodles and especially the rice.
The room was so noisy I couldn’t wait to leave. Also, there were few vegetarian choices. On the positive side, the staff was very accommodating of my companion’s food restrictions.
The food was excellently prepared, but the actual dishes themselves were bland and lack any characteristic or flavor. I ended up throwing my leftovers into the harbor
Always a fantastic experience from expertly crafted cocktails, to groundbreaking food and last but not least truly exceptional service.
I’ve been a fan on Ming Tsai for many years and this was my first experience at his Seaport restaurant. The food was exciting and delicious and the service was outstanding-we sat at the bar. I got a picture with Ming-he was very warm and cool!
Good service and great drinks. Even it’s Ming’s place, hardly an Asian infused food, only few items resembled his old Blue Ginger. I know it’s apples to orange comparison, but I miss Blue Ginger.
Too much like a pub like food. But overall good tasty food, but not extraordinary.
We were excited to get a reservation here while visiting Boston. It started with us waiting as the hostess was on an extended phone conversation taking a takeout order. I then believe we had a newer waiter who was unfamiliar with the menu and food allergy items. He did have support but that waiter had his own tables to wait on. The food was ok we expected it to be spectacular living up to what we see Ming produce on TV. Overall an average dinner, we expected much more.
Sarah ordered for our party of six and was terrific! Ming, bring her on the show. Thank you for a great evening.
Perhaps the most comfortable i have ever been made to feel at a dinner in a nice place with my kids. Our server reminded me, more than once, that it was a casual, easy going place and not to rush. She assured me to order when we were hungry for our next dish and that it would be served quickly. And it was, time after time. What a wonderful place, with unique takes on asian. A true fave.
Great overall experience - friendly staff- good
Food- just wish I knew they’d make us sit at a bar instead of a table
BD is a routine choice for us and never disappoints. We have our favorites (shrimp shumai, fried chicken, pimento cheese, Chinese Broccoli) but often enjoy the specials (last night the Lamb Ribs). We are fans and have always received excellent service and food. If we want a real wake up, the bloody Mary’s are TDF!
Excellent! Every moment, every morsel excellent!
Food was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. Casual and fun dining.
After enjoying Blue Ginger was looking forward to trying Blue Dragon. I felt Blue Dragon was average part of the issue was what I ordered
Only wish seating was more comfortable here.
It is almost impossible to hear one's dining companions. Second visit - and I love the food, but it is way too noisy to enjoy friends or business associates over a meal.
Excellent food, excellent service, and 100% food allergy friendly.
Went for my sister’s birthday. Overall it was a super great experience. I wish the space wasn’t quite so noisy, but I guess that’s to be expected when the physical space is small. The food was delicious!!!! Some of the portions were on the smaller side, I’ve definitely been to other tapas-style places that have a little more per plate. Most plates were really only meant to be shared by two people. We definitely ate tons and got our fill tho!
Props to our waiter for picking out some really great Sake for us!
Most of our menu items we chose were bland. The Garlic-Chile Braised Octopus was mostly shredded vegetables with a few hard to find small pieces of octopus. The Pork and Scallion Wontons slid off a dry and flavorless filling. The noise level prevented conversation. A big disappointment.
It’s very informal, which is nice. Young people. The food was tapas like. Lots of fried food, not enough non meat items. Was really looking forward to Ming’s place, but overall underwhelmed
I just started working in this area and Blue Dragon has jumped up to the very top of my favorites list. The food is amazing and they have something for everyone. I have dietary restrictions and the staff is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable when handling my specific requests. The environment is great and the food rules. Great place for lunch or dinner!
Very excited and high expectations of Ming. Was lunch and too loud to have conversation. More appropriate at dinner, but turn down at lunch. Poke was good. Buffalo Chicken Rangoon were fantastic. My high expectations probably influenced that the Poke was delicious but not awe inspiring like the Rangoon. Would dine again and menu surf. Love Ming and would search for the inspired on the menu.
Never disappoints! Took my husband for his 60Th and he can now check off meeting Ming Tsai (who is incredibly kind and generous to indulge us).
Food was amazing! We loved the Dan Dan Noodles, lamb ribs, and the the variety of wontons!
