Fun evening...great service and good food...fine entertainment.
We are always welcomed with a smile. Gianna and Taylor at the front desk are wonderful and very helpful.
Also nice to have Ryan and Lea stop by the table and check in on us.
We always enjoy going to the Blue Bell Inn. We will be back. Thanks !
Couldn’t review - restaurant closed due to power failure!
I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. I have dined here many times. The bronzino was poor and the lobster thermidor very ordinary. A poor meal.
Delicious meal served by Les. He was great, very professional, friendly and attentive.
Poor quality meat, steak was too tough. But service was good.
Have been eating hear for 25 years. Several years ago they closed and did a huge remodel. End result was amazing. Only negative is the dinner menu has gotten smaller and they took off the Chateaubriand & Double Sirloin. We really miss those two items.
Given a seat in the bar area. Noise level from recorded and live music was excessively high.
Great food, great service and fantastic ambience. Would recommend very highly.
80th birthday celebration. Everything was great, it’s just too noisy for us old-timers!
This was our second time there. First time my steak was an awful cut. This time my steak was overcooked and extremely dry. The portions of the side items were miniscule. The only saving grace was our server. She gave us a free dessert. She should have called a manager and had them look at it. But she did something. Not sure if we will be back.
Food was well prepared. Had the Lobster risotto.
We are regulars at Blue Bell Inn - always find the cuisine and ambiance appealing. This evening we arrived later than usual and missed out on the Halibut special but saw the "lasting portion' served at a nearby table - looked great!
We are also great fans of the oyster bar and tonight's selection of raw oysters was delicious.
I hadn't been to Blue Bell Inn in decades. I was extremely pleased with the food and service. It was expensive but there's that old saw "you get what you pay for."
Food has been consistently good every time we’ve been there. The pour quantity is good as well oh no we had an inexperienced bartender this time and I can’t say it was as good. You always go around paying a good amount for Amelia feel that it’s pretty good.
Dinner was fabulous! Their steaks are the best around. Dessert is a must!
Always terrific food and service. We love eating at Blue Bell and will do again and again!
Lindsey was super attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and beyond friendly. Brunch was delicious. Will be back!
For our daughter's 12th birthday, we offered to take her anywhere in the Philadelphia area for dinner. She did not hesitate to choose the Blue Bell Inn. The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful.
Leah Patterson and her team made our daughter feel like a celebrity. Leah greeted us at our table, reminded our daughter what she had on her last visit (last year) and suggested some great options for her meal. She was very engaging with what my wife and I wanted as well. It made the whole evening so much more enjoyable.
My wife and I can also vouch for BBI's happy hour all year round. It is a wonderful place to meet friends for cocktails as well as for an romantic dinner. It is one of favorite places to dine.
You MUST dine at the Blue Bell Inn!
One of our favorite spots for a special dinner. The food is always delicious and the staff is wonderful.
Service was not great! Food was good.
food was delicious, especially the dessert.
Service excellent and overall excellent night out
Great meal! Awesome ambiance. Very good service.
Amazing service and food!
The service was absolutely excellent. Our waiter, Les, was on top of things and kept our drinks plentiful; however wasn’t their to bother us every 30 seconds. A big deal in my eyes. The food was bought out perfectly from a timing standpoint. Nothing was just piled on us all at once. From appetizers to dessert, everything was fresh and prepared well. Would be back here in a heartbeat.
Valentine’s Day and Birthday
My Fiancé and I went to Blue Bell Inn for Valentines Day!
The food and services was EXCELLENT!!
Everything is phenomenal here. We started with oysters, fresh and delicious. We both shared the Seafood Chopped salad, even better. Followed with perfectly cooked steaks and topped with a yummy dessert. Can’t go wrong here and it’s a piece of history.
Music too loud through out.Asked server and person who stopped by to ask how we were doing to please lower volume.Nothing happened.
We were pleasantly surprised as neither one of us had been to this restaurant in several years. The bar area was very trendy and really a nice area to eat and drink, though quite loud. We were seated in a smaller dining area that was quite traditional but comfortable. My wife had lobster Thermidor, which was small but with great taste. My wife felt that it was expensive ($45) for the size of the lobster. I wanted a lighter and less rich meal and had a half dozen cherry stone clams and the wedge salad with shrimp and crab meat. Though my meal did not have the demands of my wife's entree it was the perfect dish for me. My wife had proseco and I had a Russian River Pinoir--both were quite good. The service was nicely attentive and our overall dining experience was just right for our Valentine's Day dinner.
The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful . I thought the menu did not have a lot of choices . I think you could use more entrees ( just my two cents )
Otherwise we had a great time
My wife had the filet which was so dry she couldn't finish it I haad the ribeye and that was like rubber we had very hi expectations for the new and improved restaurant but unfortunately they fell way short. Our bill was 150.00 and for what we experienced that money could of been spent better somewhere else
The waiter was impeccable!
Went to Blue Bell Inn with wife to meet another couple for dinner. Requested a table in the bar area because we like the lively atmosphere and they have good TVs to watch sports. The steaks we got were very good and, at under $40, seemed reasonably priced compared to the chain steak houses these days which now charge over $50 for similar steaks. Our only issue was that the server was slow to get us cocktails - especially when we first sat down, which is when you really want it! However a forgiving manager recognized the issue and comped our round of drinks - so all good after that. We will be back and I would recommend this place to friends.
We had an enjoyable family dinner and the meals were delicious although the desserts could be upgraded, they were very average.
Fish special was expensive and disappointing (mahi mahi), way to salty! Had a drink at the bar which was too loud to stay, overall poor experience!!
We were in the small dining room at the top of the steps, the walls are part of the wine reserve. It is quite. It is a little more expensive for everyday dining but a good place for a 1 off meal. They didnt have the wine of the day so I asked for a comparative wine. They provided a small tasting. Very nice.
Food was good but a little over priced for the quality. Great atmosphere and great service! One large bar and one smaller bar and both were packed which made the restaurant seating area a little loud. But overall a good experience! We will be back when it’s nice out to take advantage of their outdoor seating.
We went for my husband’s birthday. It was our first time visiting this restaurant since we recently moved in this area . I read good reviews online and decided to give it a try. The place is so big, it felt we walked to our table a mile. The place is clean, the food was good, but not unique, the service is decent. It’s just not exiting and it’s kind of boring. There was a life music that evening, but we couldn’t even hear it from our table. Just because the place is huge and separated into different rooms. If you want to just have dinner that’s not ridiculously overpriced, go there. But don’t expect anything more
