Blue Bell Inn
In 2013, Blue Bell Inn underwent extensive renovations for over a year. Various historical aspects were enhanced through thoughtful restoration and new materials such as solid white oak and porcelain tile floors were introduced to create a stunning architectural mélange spanning three centuries.

Consistently at the top of our list-5🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔...and we’ve loved this place for 64 years!!!
Another awesome experience at the Blue Bell Inn! My fiance and I celebrated my birthday on Saturday night and everything was perfect. The food was fantastic and our server Sheldon took great care of us. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed the ambience and the music. We highly recommend the BBI!
Food was delicious, our server was fantastic. Highly recommend!
Great meal
We are vaccinated and this was our first indoor dining experience since the Pandemic was announced.
My eating partners wanted steak and I anything but!
It was an extremely pleasant experience. Our wait staff were The Best; very attentive!
The only reason I gave the 4-star rating is that, unlike my steak-eating companions who loved their meal, my lobster roll was disappointing. Shredded bits of lobster does not a roll make. However, the vanilla creme brûlée gets 10 stars! I realize that menus are still limited and look forward to returning with everything back in full swing and more non-meat choices. ( the French Fries are fabulous!)
Everything we ate was excellent. Service was great. Sat on the patio with heaters.
Aunt’s 80th birthday
I have been there many times and have enjoyed all aspects. Unfortunately, our server was not having a good day. She took our order and I didn't see her again. Our appetizers never came and I had to go to the bar to ask for a refill of our drinks. This is not typical for the Blue Bell Inn and therefore was very disappointing.
Server was amazing
Wonderful brunch experience. Large menu with many great options. Service was excellent. Will be back!
Everything was perfect from the waiter to the food to the ambiance....highly recommend!!!
This was our first time here. We chose to be seated upstairs for a more quiet atmosphere because it was our anniversary. They have a wonderful ambiance. Our service was ok. It took a while for her to get to us. She asked us what we wanted to drink and when my husband asked what do you have she said its on their menu. This being our first time out since covid we were not aware they do not use actual menus and we had to go online for the menu and she seamed annoyed. She directed us to look at the menu online and then left. She returned 10 min later for our drink order. My husband ordered the lobster tail and said it was over cooked and did not melt in your mouth nor did it have flavor. I ordered the chicken and I found it was full of flavor but overcooked as well. I was ok with that as I do not want to eat undercooked chicken. I would have liked a little bit more of a food selection as they have a very small entree menu. In the end I would try this location again as It has a great atmosphere and even though the food was overcooked mine was definitely flavorful
Outstanding meal, service and ambiance. We were fortunate enough to sit near the fire pit near the 2 amazing singers. It was a much needed and delightful evening for my husband and I.
My partner and I both had the 8 ounce filet mignon. The meat was very tasty, but on the chewy side
Server was awesome! Loved our table out front!
I love everything about the BBI but am always shocked at the bill. $60. per person is the usual bill.
I love eating here, especially during the pandemic. They are doing a great job of making you feel safe and comfortable.
Thanks Ryan and Sam for always being so great! - Absolutely love the vibe and atmosphere and especially the live music!
Great as always
Had a great dinner here for Easter. Great food and atmosphere. Always our go to restaurant for a nice meal.
Another phenomenal evening at my favorite restaurant. The menu choices were extensive & the quality of the food was awesome as usual. Our server Saly K was so sweet & attentive throughout the evening, she helped make it a very memorable experience !
Another wonderful meal! Excellent service! Best way to spend Easter.
We had a memorable Easter dinner for two. We splurged and ordered everything we were wishing for, and everything was delightful - oysters, filet, lamb and lobster; wine, and cognac after dinner (plus dessert). Can't wait to come again.
Great time
Everything was very nice. Food was great. Tables were well spaced and everything was Covid19 safe
We were there Easter eve, sat in the bar area and the restaurant was very busy. All four of us enjoyed our entrees (lobster, filet, scallops and short ribs) that were cooked to our liking. Service was good. Waiter forgot one drink refill. All in all it was an enjoyable evening and will definitely be back.
Service was fantastic as where the drinks. Food was very good. Great lunch with friends. We will be back.
I was not impressed with the Blue Bell Inn's menu. There was little on the menu that made me feel I was being offered an opportunity for something unique, that I would not find anywhere else. My cocktail was good but rather expensive. In short we used to go there for a special occasion but in the future we will bypass the Blue Bell Inn for other establishments in the area.
We went early on a Friday and sat in the bar area. It was a nice space. Food was good but we thought their menu is limited compared to other similar establishments. The prices are also on the higher end. Service was ok.
Excellent food and service! I was nervous about dining at restaurant because of current environment. They had a enclosed porch with heaters that was amazing and warm.
The food was nothing short of delicious ( the specials) of the night. Highly recommend. If you are avoiding crowds, recommend not going on a weekend night.
Excellent Service Ambience Food and Atmosphere. Great for lunches with family and friends Fabulous for business lunches as well
We always have a great experience at Blue Bell Inn. Our waitress Deana was excellent. We will be back.
it was wonderful. The steaks especially were tender and delicious. The service was tremendous and we actually had our own private dining room for 5 people.
We were there for brunch. Everything that we ordered - omelet, chicken with biscuits, eggs Benedict - was great!
Had a wonderful lunch on the beautiful outdoor patio. The food was delicious as usual.
My recent dining experience at Blue Bell Inn was excellent as always. This is one of my favorite restaurants because of the well prepared and tasty cuisine, outstanding service and superb ambiance.
Love the ambiance and typically really enjoy the food. The food was average at best this visit
Great food. Great music. Lovely night.
We love Blue Bell Inn. The atmosphere is very nice. Service is always great. Food wasn't as good this time. My sons pork chop was over done and I thought my short ribs were okay. One rib was too fatty and it came with potato puree rather than a more substantial potato. It wasn't very filling. I left a little disappointed but will try again soon as it usually is great.
Delicious meal, great oysters and wonderful lobster!
