Blue Bell Inn
In 2013, Blue Bell Inn underwent extensive renovations for over a year. Various historical aspects were enhanced through thoughtful restoration and new materials such as solid white oak and porcelain tile floors were introduced to create a stunning architectural mélange spanning three centuries.

Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. Old building that was very charming. Enjoyed a great date night with my wife.
Raw seafood offerings are excellent. The reason for 4 star ratings is that the cooked items were salty, however, this was the first time that happened; been to BB Inn 4 other times. The server appeared very rushed but was nice. It was noisier than usual.
Prices are increasing above the area norm for what you get but still very good. We fear they are going to out price themselves.
It was a very special occasion as it was our 20th wedding anniversary. I would’ve thought that BBI would’ve done something special for us - and by special, I mean just a basic card on the table, perhaps a sweet desert put forth by the chef.... ANYTHING actually ..... but did they? NOPE. What I got was a hurried happy anniversary by some random guy at the front desk without even making eye contact - I’m using the word random because there were five people standing there. I have no idea who the host was or the manager. We were escorted to a table that I’ve sat on many times.
The food was ok - the steaks were undercooked and why restaurants mess around with cheesecake is beyond me. Even my nine year old left it after one bite.
Very disappointed with BBI. They just lost a customer.
The person who waited on us was excellent.
The food was very good, large portions, so we weren’t able to finish what we ordered. We arrived at 7 and it was a lovely and quiet experience. However about 45 minutes into our meal the noise level picked up quite a bit and became slightly unbearable. Overall the food was amazing, and the look and feel of the place was wonderful. I would definitely go there again.
We had a fabulous time as always at BBI. Sally was our server and she’s excellent and one of our favorites.
The branzino was excellent!
Love the Blue Bell Inn Sunday Brunch! We go for special occasions and also just for a regular Sunday. The new expanded a la carte menu offers a lot of options and the unlimited Mimosas or Bloody Marys @! $18/pp makes for a lovely, relaxing meal. Service is great and they don’t rush you! It’s great in the winter and is also especially nice in the spring and summer. It’s our go to brunch place!!
We LOVED our brunch experience!! We will definitely go back!
Best brunch around!
Great Server. Great food. Great drink. We will be back.
Dinner was very good but good have been hotter. Soup and mashed potatoes were just warm.
Great drinks and a great happy hour menu.
Brunch menu was good but could be expanded to offer more choices. Service was good but a bit slow. Food was very good.
We came for brunch & ordered eggs Benedict w/potatoes...the potatoes were cold so we sent the entire platter back...then we waited at least 10 mins, upon getting our food back, the potatoes were room temp & eggs were cold! Needless to say we informed the waitress who did not give us the option to take the price for 2 meals off the check so I opted to take leftovers with me since we were charged for them...not a happy camper & will not return!
Our food and service was exceptional.
It was a bit noisy for us...next time I'll request a quiet area.
I have been here many times and have always been pleased. I recommended it to two of my friends for lunch. Since we only do this three times a year, we tend to visit for about 2 and a half hours. When we arrived at 12 noon , the parking lot was empty. At 2 PM we were approached to give up our table because a party of 8 arrived and they wanted to use our table with an adjoining one to accommodate these guests. It was awkward because we felt rushed to wrap it up. Honestly, we won’t come again for lunch.
Great place for drinks and apps. Ambiance very nice.
Menu is expensive and food not great. We had a table of 4 and spent $250 (with no alcohol) and were in and out in 1 hour or less. Way too much money to be finished that quickly.
New Year’s Eve fun ambiance and only thing would have
Liked to have desert
After bringing in the new year but Kitchen was closed so it forced us to end our night at 1215 other than that was a really good time and lots of fun
Had a great dinner and the festivities for the New Year were great!
Love the Blue Bell Inn! It’s never a disappointment. Seafood Wedge is the best!
A fabulous evening all the way around. Awesome menu choices, the quality of food was superb & our server was unbelievably attentive. It made for a memorable New Years Eve evening.
Hadn’t been there in years. It was delicious. Definitely going back . You must get the Apple dessert in the skillet ..
The service was not quite as good as normal. It took a long time to get drinks. It was very loud.
Sunday brunch was lovely with delicious food, excellent service, and holiday atmosphere. Can hardly wait to come again!
Food was just not good ... I’ve had Eggs Benedict with Crabmeat many times at different restaurants ... crabmeat was not fresh lump crabmeat... was a crab cake that had a very fishy odor to it ... over priced as well
Lovely staff, good menu, busy evening with both full dining room and bar along with a wedding. Service did not suffer for it.
Had a great lunch here. Will be back!
This is one of our favorite restaurants and we always look forward to going back there. Everything about this place is great and we always have a good experience. Also if you were looking for a great place for Sunday brunch this is the place for you. After dinner we went to the bar which was crowded as usual because they had music there and we had a great time. Definitely put this on your list of places to dine.
We no longer live in the area but frequented the Blue Bell Inn for many years when we did. So, now, we visit the BBI whenever in the area which is 2-3 times per year.
My first time at the Blue Bell Inn. Beautiful place. Best roast beef sandwich I ever had.
Been here many times but this lunch was very poor--ordered a Reuben and it was just terrible. Whoever made it did a very poor job & the its presentation was so bad I'm surprised the server even served it. I guess if you want a Reuben you have to go to Phils
Our office has come to the Blue Bell Inn several past years for our Christmas luncheon and office parties and this is the first time that we did not have a good experience. We waited for at least a half hour for our food and when it finally arrived some dishes were cold and to be returned to the kitchen for reheating. Other than that the food was tasty
We had a wonderful time-from all perspectives!! Didn’t understand how to rate the noise level.... it was OK, but due to the crowd, maybe a little loud.
Birthday dinner was really nice regarding service and atmosphere. Prime rib was a little high priced since it was a little tough and rough to chew. Peanut butter mousse pie dessert was amazing.
First visit to Blue Bell Inn on the recommendation of a friend. Went for lunch to celebrate Christmas in a festive location. Beautiful and elegant, with superior service. And the food is fantastic. So many amazing choices, and so many creative combinations of flavors and spices. Very impressed and look forward to my return visit.
Great night. Lobster roll was awesome.
Outstanding food. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun night out with friends
Had dinner with two friends over the holidays. Since the renovations a few years ago. the Blue Bell Inn has become a favorite dining spot. Food is terrific, service is great, and the place itself is beautiful.
