   I was excited to try this place! But a lot of the staff & servers give off the vibe that perhaps, this is the first nice/formal job they’ve had. Our server struggled to make eye contact, never knew when to take our plates for the next course, never asked if we wanted drinks, & was not familiar with the menu at all, it’s was just kind of a mess! You expect better service when you spend this kind of money. But some of the food was beautiful. I started with the scallop ceviche, which was perfect in every way! For my main, I ordered their calamari pasta, which I was told by my server, was not rings but a leg of octopus. But it was truly calamari rings in pasta, which was just okay. My friend ordered the Miso Salmon which was wonderful. The drinks were not good, but they informed us that their normal bartender was not around, for whatever reason. Our valet, though sweet, seemed a bit clueless on etiquette for opening doors & such. Overall, I’m not sure I’d go back for the price. There are many other spots in town that are far better quality service & food.

   We love sitting in the lounge in front of the fireplace. We had a nice meal and enjoyed our family. Our complaint was our waiter was having just an OK day. We asked for something on a lunch menu and he said we had to order off brunch only. Hospitality is the key to service.

   Mediocre all around except the service which was fantastic. From bread to dessert, all apps, entrees and dessert were just mediocre. Filet was far too salty but cooked well, bread “service” as they call it was like mom’s dinner rolls, scallops were tasty but portion was very small (3), burrata had a mustard vinegar-like dressing that wasnt appealing, dessert (lemon) was blah but beautiful presentation. Cocktails were good.

    I LOVE BLUE ASTER! I’ve only had there brunch like 3 times. However it is still amazing. I’ve had the standard breakfast every time. The quality of taste in the food is amazing! Service is always top notch from starting at the door!

    No appetizers interested me. The bowl of soup was about a half of a measuring cup. Sandwich was good, but server never asked us if we wanted desert - she just brought us our check. I guess that meant the desert is bad. I was excited to to try the restaurant but was very underwhelmed.

    We went to Blue Aster for lunch. The truffle potato soup is amazing. I took also the calamari pasta that were perfectly cooked. Desserts are very original and tasty!

    Loved my stay here from the moment I pulled up to the moment I checked out. Thistle and rye had amazing drinks and breakfast was divine. The staff was great and very accommodating.

    My waiter Blake had superb knowledge of the menu and was very helpful in making my decision easy. The Caesar salad with fried grit croutons was amazing. The entire meal was well worth the $100!!! Many thanks

    Service was great, and our meal was fantastic. We had the Prix Fixe dinner on Thanksgiving, and I can't rate it more highly. Terrific flavors and creative interpretations and presentations.

    Great atmosphere. We had a great waiter who took care of us well. The value of some of the dishes for the quality and portion size seemed to be a bit off but everything was tasty. Would still Reccomend.

    Delicious food, beautiful space, wonderful service. If I had one complaint it would be that the teeny, tiny cocktails are too expensive. If I spend $18, plus tax and tip on a cocktail, it needs to be in a full-size glass or it's just embarrassing. I almost laughed when they placed the thimble of pink stuff in front of me.

    This place is very pricey, but the food was delicious, the service outstanding. Great for an evening when we needed to treat ourselves. We stuck with veggies and seafood (small seafood platter to share, soup of the day, market veg plate to share, coffees, dessert. The bread service is unique and delicious. Overall we had a lovely time, and Natalie was a great server.

    Two hour valet is a wonderful free option. Bread service is outstanding. Service by Jamie was great. Garden dish was exceptional- vegetables were extremely fresh and the sweet potato chips are wonderfully light. The pimento cheese dip had some weird flavors going on so sent that dish back. Menu is limited, expensive, and not child friendly. Great staff and experience, but for that level of money there are better options available close by.

    Our server was so very knowledgeable about the menu options!!! She was polite and didn’t rush us as we enjoyed a glass of wine before ordering. Our entrees were excellent! The only negative was that another team member picked up my plate before I was finished!

    Good food in a pretty setting, albeit a small menu. Very friendly service. Small food portions for the price. Way over-priced wine list, bordering on obscene.

    We entered to a very beautifully appointed room with plush seating. Parker and his team did a phenomenal job with service. They were busy, but there was never a time when we were looking for service or felt rushed. Parker made some excellent suggestions on the menu and he was right. My scallops were delicious. The peanut red sauce was a little too salty, but I appreciated that the scallops were not drowning in the sauce. Steak's were grilled to perfection. Chilean sea bass was delicious, but looked very small portion wise to the other Entrées. Salads and Dessert were enjoyed by all...particularly the heirloom tomato burrata salad and the banana trifle. Key lime pie was really a tart and was not "tart" enough. It was a little loud, but we still loved the plushness of the decor and the wonderful service, and we will be back!

    A little disappointed that the Sunday lunch menu didn’t include brunch items. When you go to a nice hotel restaurant on a Sunday, you expect brunch not fish and chips and poke bowls, which were both excellent but not what I would have wanted at 1130am on a Sunday.
