Great service and fantastic food only downside wait time for the only women's bathroom when busy
Service was great! Margaritas were great. Food came out extremely quick and waitress was attentive. Free chips and salsa trio was a nice bonus! Burritos were good, shrimp tacos were ok. First time I got steak tacos which were much better. Overall great value and would recommend it!
We had Shira as our server, she was awesome! Had great recommendation's and was overall a great server!!
Always love our visits to Blue Agave! The food is incredible and always get great service. Our server, Emily, was wonderful! The only real complaint - and it was really bad - was the temperature. We were seated in the rear of the restaurant and it was absolutely freezing! Several other parties were seated back there and actually asked to be moved to other parts of the restaurant that were warmer. We ate our meal with our coats on - it was absolutely ridiculous. Vents were on - the banners hanging on the wall were blowing around - and cold air was coming out - did they actually have the a/c on when it was 40F outside??. I don't know if there was a problem with the heat or what - no one ever explained why it was so cold. Seriously, when we walked outside after our meal there was no serious difference between the temperature inside the restaurant and the temperature outside!
Enjoyed a great brunch with friends on Saturday. We had an 11am reservation, when they first open; it didn't get really busy until probably noon. Recommend going early to avoid the crowds and/or make a reservation.
Our waitress was slow to respond. Brought us water said she would bring chips and salsa but we didn’t see her again for 10 minutes. Took our drink order brought it but the fourth person arrived so we asked for another glass for our pitcher of margaritas. Took her another 10 minutes to return. Food came out quickly and hot. The house margarita was great. Definitely visit again.
Went for brunch for the first time (been previously for dinner). Food was delicious and reasonable priced. Will def. return for brunch again and will recommend to others.
Staff and management very courteous.
Service was outstanding! Not just our server, but manager and others servers came around to check on my wife and I. Chicken Mole enchiladas were awesome and my wife enjoyed her chicken tacos as well. Drinks and food were all reasonably priced. Will be back!
Someone in the restaurant stole my credit card number
It had been over a year since we'd been to Blue Agave and it lived up to all my memories - great food and still my favorite margaritas in town.
The food was okay for the price. The service was also okay, our waitress barely came to check on us. The place was too loud and very tight, you could barely move from your seats. The only thing good about the place was the drinks, which is still over priced.
Service was awesome. Best waitress I’ve had at Blue Agave. Would go back just because of her. Music was loud—way too loud for 7pm. Didn’t know if I was about to have dinner or go clubbing
We went on Taco Tuesday and the tacos were great! The price was even greater. Service was awesome!
The pancakes were delicious!!!
Service was extremely slow we sat fke 29 minutes before our server came over and ended up walking to the bar for drinks and bringing them back to the table. She was very nice though and efficient though after that.
Queso was incredible. We added chorizo. Everything else was ok. Tanaka’s has way too much masa and not any filling. Loved the chips and the different salsas. The Paloma is my go to drink.
Awesome dinner and service
We were looking to get a quick bite to eat before a show and this was the perfect spot. No one hurried us and we were given the most amazing appetizers. The food was excellent as was the server. Will most certainly visit again.
1/2 price wine on Weds a killer deal. Only downside to meal - the sides of rice were barely warm. Not worth complaining about at at the time. Everything else was VG to exc
All of the food was amazing. Best queso of any restaurant!
It was ok. I am gluten free and there were barely any options. Kind of a bummer. So loud and packed on a Sat. night that I could hear the table next to mine's entire conversation but couldn't hear my husband across from me. There was also an air vent above us that made us cold. Wa!
Had the family in town to visit east coast relatives and found Blue Agave through nearby recommendations from OpenTable. We were in the mood for anything other than regular bar food and had just come from a ravens game, so this was an easy choice with already excellent reviews. The drink list is great, we all tried some tequila, beers, and calamari. Wife got the Mango margarita which she loved. Menu is very diverse so highly recommended for foodies. Overall no complaints, the service was quick and helpful. Only wished my food had come hotter/fresher. Tacos al pastor usually come hot off the spit, but hard to imagine this was the case as the presentation was a little less than traditional. Nevertheless, would return and try something new. Everything else was a good experience.
The food and service were great. The noise level was very high, though. Lots of talk (great), music, and sports on tv. The combination had us yelling at each other just to be heard (and there were only 2 of us!). We'd eat there again in a heart beat, but be prepared for the noise.
went for dinner. door was wide open so the place was extra cold. the food was bland at best and the drinks were small for the price. waitress was nice and attentive until she got all of the other 4 tables on the restaurant side. we won't be back...there are so many other nicer places in baltimore to eat.
good food. the drinks are good and not awfully expensive. chips and salsa are great. recommended for a pre-game or great bar food. eentres are large serving size.
When we were originally seated, there was a large party of 20-somethings that were extremely loud right next to our table (not sure why we were seated there since there were at least 10 other tables that were open well away from this rowdy group, so after the hostess moved us to another table we were able to concentrate on the menu and have a conversation. As always, the food and service were excellent at Blue Agave - our server, Sam, was great - seeing to all of our needs and keeping the drink glasses full. Our food - steak tacos and fajitas and the best queso fundido ever - were excellent. Always enjoy coming to Blue Agave and Sundays on a non-game day are great since you don't have the usual weekend parking issues!
Great time and atmosphere. Great food as well and big selection.
It has been several years since we ate at Blue Agave. We had two guests, one who had eaten with us in the past. The tortilla chips were basically crisp but a little affected by the humidity that day. Everyone liked it but didn't love the food. The Margaritas were all delicious - we shared a sip. The salsa, green sauce and roasted tomato combo was moderate. The entree was good and respectable.
Our server was busy. My coke was finished early on. I looked for the waitress and didn't see her. Our friends caught her later but it appeared to not be an alert service. I will chock it up to not being fast enough and our server being busy. She was a nice though. We would recommend it to friends but the food was better at our previous visit. There are not many Mexican restaurants on Open Table so we will return. P.S. We lucked out with parking!
Busy place, but service was friendly and very efficient. Food was good and Skinny Margarita was delicious!
Favorite place to eat in Baltimore. A casual place that's great for many occasions. Having a reservation is handy for late night/ weekends.
Actual restaurant was much dirtier than the pictures. Food is not of that good quality and taste.
Always our go to in Baltimore!
The food was ok, a bit overpriced. If you have a large family be aware that for 5 people they add 19% gratuity. Especially when my server wasn't worth it. She came up missing and instead of bringing my son's food she was talking to coworkers. She brought it after i asked for the check. Definitely won't waste another 91dollars and you shouldn't either.
Great Mexican food! Wish we had a place like this in DC! Don't miss this place.
Service was out of bounds, tacos were fantastic, enchiladas were bland and not something I would go back for.
Best tequila selection in Baltimore! Good food and good service.
We enjoy Mexican and like to dine at Blue Agave. Our table was ready when we arrived. The food is very good and they give you good size portions. The service was very good and the waitress was friendly. My only comment for improvement about this visit was we were in a booth with a speaker near it. The music was loud and mostly hard rock difficult to carry on a conversation.
I ordered the enchiladas moles problano. It was tasty. However, I felt that the dish was overpriced. I have had the same dish at other restaurants for half the price. Most notably about my dinner was the pleasant and attentive service I had. Also, the red sangria was excellent. It was full of fresh fruit and made from a traditional recipe.
The food was great but service was very slow. The restaurant is really loud, so if you want to talk, try somewhere else. The drinks are also great but small and expensive.
