One of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore! My only complaint is that the food and drinks are expensive for what they are, but I'm fine with it considering how great the service/waiters are and I absolutely love the ambience.
We eat here often and out waiter Christian rememberers us and is always attentive and remembers our favorite things.
This was my first visit. the customer service was exceptional. most of the food was good. the restaurant was very cold but other than that I would visit again
Amazing food along with great service
Wifey and I went there for Valentine’s Day. The complimentary chips and fresh salsas were delicious! We ordered the queso fundido with chorizo and it was perfect—gooey, rich, and full of flavor. The margaritas were also great. I recommend ordering the pitcher which was $29 and gives about 5 glasses (compared to a glass for $9). For food, I ordered carnitas and gosh they were tender (melt-in-your-mouth), juicy and delicious. Highly recommend!!
It was an amazing experience that was thrilled by exquisite food and brilliant service.
Wings are 10/10. Even if you’re VEGAN, try them.

Reservation wasn’t honored but they got us a table at the bar about 25 minutes later and the server was wonderful. The variety of margs we had were all amazing, wings were dope, empanadas were decent

The restaurant was OK, food was good but unexceptional. I got the wrong water down cocktail three times.
Great service, good food. They'll adjust the spice upwards for you if you'd like, just ask. Interesting nacho dip flavors---the green stuff and the brown stuff are pretty unique. The surrounding area is well lit and seems pretty safe. A parking garage is nearby, which is good, because parking on the street can be a challenge.

Love going to Blue Agave when we're downtown. Our server was great! We always order the Queso Fundido which we love - this time is was really watery - oddly so - even when we tried to stir it there was still a layer of liquid on the top. Our fajitas were excellent! A downtown favorite!
My food was not good, but my waitress was very understanding.
Everything about the 3 hours we spent here (brunch at 11 on a Saturday) was phenomenal.

This was our first time and didn’t know what to expect but we were blown away but everything. The service was spot on, friendly and attentive without being over the top. The food, omg the food...the vegan and vegetarian options were plentiful, the guacamole was probably the beat we have had and the prickly pear margarita was the stuff dreams are made of. Already working on plans to go back and try more.

The staff were very accommodating, combining two reservations when we found out friends would also be dining at the same time. We were seated immediately, even with a large party, and the service was perfect, as has always been my experience. We enjoyed the queso fundido and guacamole appetizers, and all the entrees were great. The silver coin margaritas were tasty, and no water or drink glasses ever went empty. We can’t wait to go back!
I have been to Blue Agave in the past and really loved it. The menu has been changed dramatically and none of us truly enjoyed our meals. I was really disappointed.

We had been to Blue Agave a few times in the past, but not in several years. One thing that hasn't changed is that this place is very energetic around happy hour time! It's a fun, casual outing and the food is good. My wife and I started at the bar area while we waited for our friends. They serve a trio of dips to go with the fresh chips that are made in house: salse verde (very good); salsa roja (very good) and a pico di gallo (OK). You don't even have to ask for the chips and dip, so that's a nice touch. When we went to the table the server brought a fresh order of the trio + chips, so we all shared that with drinks. My wife and I had sipping tequilas, but we also tasted our friends' margaritas, which were good. For starters we enjoyed the Calamari Mexicana, which is a Mexican take on everyone's favorite. Here, the calmari were served with a sweet n' spicy serrano-mango salsa. The other appetizer was the chorizo empanadas, something I would recommend other diners pass on. Fairly bland and we really couldn't taste the chorizo. For our main courses I had the carne asada soft tacos with rice and beans, which was decent. (I improved the kick by adding a couple of the hot sauces that are present on every table.) My wife and our friend each had the rib special and they reported two thumbs up in terms of flavor and the healthy portion. It was served with a tasty chipotle slaw and mashed potatoes. Our cousin had the carnitas soft tacos with rice and beans and she liked it a lot. Our server was very attentive throughout, so we never had to wait long for drinks or water refills. One thing we thought odd was that even though this was a Saturday night, it started to get a lot quieter fairly early (circa 9 PM). Difficult to tell whether this is problematic for Blue Agave or that people just fill the place up on the earlier side before going somewhere afterwards. Overall, the experience was positive: casual, fun, good service and solid food and drinks.
A little noisy for me (50 year old) but very good otherwise.
This place used to be really good, Mexican haute cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere. Now it's bland boring food, in a noisy tv-filled space.

I went for a friend's birthday. Service was prompt. Food was very good. Got wings and shrimp quesadilla. Wings were spicy but not overpowering and the quesadilla excellent. We didn't get happy hour drink prices because we didn't sit at the bar was the only downside. The margaritas were very good. The bar was young and loud but not too much.

I love Blue Agave food because it is so flavorful. Most Mexican food you get in this area is so bland. Blue Agave uses quality ingredients and knows how to combine spices for the best flavor.
