Nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was very good - clearly the chef is on top of the southwest seasoning game. Has everything from seafood to burgers - the corn chowder, shrimp skewers, and tequilla chicken was excellent. Reasonably priced for the middle of a big city.

Everyone we encountered, hostess, server, manager provided quality service. The food was excellent and the margaritas were superb. Can highly recommend the Carne Asada (with lobster and shrimp enchilada), the coconut shrimp taco, and the vegan/gluten free walnut enchiladas. We found the music near the bar a bit loud (one of our party has a hearing impairment) as we walked to our reserved table but the hostess was happy to move us to a table on the other side that suited us well.

Business dinner reservation for 7 persons at 6:30. Arrived 1 hr. early, sat at bar. Not recognized for 10 min, I had to get bartenders attention. Gin & Tonic was served, no lime. I planned on ordering bottles of wine for my guests and requested the bartender review the wine selection with me. Unfortunately she had no knowledge of the selections. She did offer to allow me to sample those I was interested in, which was nice, had she ever returned to check on my needs. I sat there until the rest of my party arrived and never did she return to see what wine I had interest in tasting. Fortunately our server, Lexi, was a wonderful young lady who checked on us frequently to make sure everyone was doing well. Lexi gave excellent dinner suggestions and all guest were very satisfied with their dinner selection.

Had an early dinner at Blue Agave. My friend and I both had tacos. She had them with avocado (not battered and fried as described in the menu) and I had coconut shrimp tacos. I love the ambiance of Blue Agave. It’s lively without feeling noisy. The decor is fun and festive, and the service is excellent. The food is good overall, not great. The margaritas are pricey, but excellent. And if you have 2 like I did, you had better plan to walk around downtown a bit before driving home!

We had a great experience at Blue Agave Grill. Food was really tasty, but what made our meal was our server. It was our first time eating here and my wife is gluten free (celiac). Our server went through the menu with her to review her gluten free options, and the reviewed with the rest of our table what were house specialties and other menu items. She was very friendly and funny and helped make the dinner a fun experience. I do want to apologize that my memory for names is terrible, but this was a really fun evening.

I reserved a table for 8 as a surprise dinner for my partners birthday. From the online reviews, we were ready for great food and great service. Unfortunately, our experience was far from that at all. After placing our food order we all waited over 1.5 hours until we got our food and when we did it was all COLD. One of our group members complained and received her food back 1 minute later clearly from the microwave. The food was all extremely over priced for the poor quality- under seasoned, and poor flavor. Lastly, the hostess who sat us told us we only had the table until 7:00 because another party had reserved the table. This rubbed me the wrong way because I had made the reservation close to a month prior for a special event (which we were never asked about). Luckily we were aloud to stay because we didn't even receive our food until after 7:00pm. I do not recommend Blue Agave Grill - maybe it was a bad day for everyone, but I am not willing to go back and try again.

The left side is a sports bar with big screens and loud music. The speakers are right on top of the booths. The right side is quieter and more intimate. Much nicer.

We went on a taco Tuesday night and I’m telling you the only worthwhile things on the menu were the street size tacos for the happy hour price of $5 for 3 and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bread pudding. Everything else was overpriced with the quality below chipotle in both flavor and quality. The guacamole visibly had mix-ins but tasted incredibly bland, the steak burrito was a soggy mess, and the chicken mole tasted very off. The cheesecake also left a strange, fuzzy feeling in your mouth due to the ginger and crust that tasted like wet pecan sandies. Was unfortunately sorely disappointed.

Nothing but great things to say about Blue Agave. Food is excellent, service was terrific and drinks were top notch.
