Our girls brunch at Blu Violet Rooftop was a fantastic experience. The service was impeccable, and the food was simply delicious. I opted for the steak and eggs, and they were cooked and seasoned to perfection. My friends ordered the breakfast bowl and blueberry pancakes, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. What made it even better was the great R&B/Afrobeats music playing in the background. Blu Violet Rooftop exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to go back!

Nice view and ambiance. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The hostess was not at all warm and made us feel unwelcome. We had drinks and some appetizers. The Eggplant Chips were delicious - I'd definitely go back for more! The Charcuterie Board was described on the menu as "Chefs Selection, Seasonal Garnish, Grilled Bread." I would describe it as "two small servings of cheese with some burnt toast." Our server was kind enough to go find me some crackers to eat with the cheese. Most definitely not worth $24. Overall, I'd recommend going there for the view and cocktails.

Simply awful. eggs over easy with solid yolks, cold home fries, a medium rare steak delivered brown all the way through! Undercooked grits. Again it was simply awful.

The Blu Violet is a lovely space with a terrace that has spectacular views of Providence. We went in time to enjoy the fireworks at India Point Park nearby, and it was absolutely lovely. The service was solid, although we had to wait to get our silverware, and while the menu was limited that specific day (July 2nd) everything was delicious. In short, if you are looking for good casual fare w/ a lovely view, this is your place.

View is amazing. Food offered is limited but innovative and very good. Server was attentive but only 1 person so service was slow. Overall worth going to especially for a drink after work. Would definitely go again.

That overall experience was nice. This is more of an adult experience however the staff was able to accommodate a family really well. The view was nice and the vibe was calm. The staff are super friendly and did not rush us at all. The food was delicious and serviced tapas style. We would recommend this place for beer drinkers and adult groups. We went with a family a 4 ( with little kids). Next time it will be a date night.

My partners says, this was the best brunch we ever ate. It was classy, it was romantic and the food was delicious. Our server was a male, I've forgotten his name but he made sure we was taken cared of. I would definitely come back.

I have been here several times, for brunch and dinner. I seem to enjoy the brunch menu better than dinner. I absolutely love the ambience and the music is always an awesome. I do think the menu could use some work. Not that the food is not good it’s not a lot to choose from and when I went last night everything was seemingly sweet or spicy. I’m not really a fan of either. The drinks are always awesome and so is the customer service. I do think you all could keep some safe choice items on the menu as well. Sometimes I do like to try different items however, I do enjoy visiting restaurants for my signature favorite dishes as well.

My top brunch spot spinning the best jams of the 90s and 2000s. The food is exquisite and the service is always excellent. Please bring back the original Wifey Mimosa recipe. The last couple times have not been the same.

In a word - fabulous! Food was really good, our server was so sweet and attentative. We did the brunch on Sunday for Morhers Day and with the absolutely fantastic, personable, funny, talented DJ Jackie Treehorn we ended up staying for 3 hours! Highly recommend, looking forward to going back!

Honestly I am let down by the whole experience dinning here. 1. We arrived and were seated immediately. But then it took about 15 minutes for a server to come over and greet + take our order. 2. Once we place our orders there was no additional service (such as water refills) 3. The food was terrible. Chicken was luke warm so I sent it back only to receive another luke warm chicken. 4. We asked for the check and waited over 15 mins for our server to come back and process the payment.

Me and my friend were visiting from NYC and the lady at the front desk of our hotel recommended we go to brunch due to their music and overall experience. The food wasn’t bad, and the hostess was very welcoming. Our server seemed like she had just woke up from a night out. She was attentive, but also seemed like she was rushing us. We ordered two glasses of Prosecco each. While we were drinking our second glass, she asked if we needed anything else. I had said not at the moment, and then she brought the check. I was looking forward to ordering cocktails and enjoying the live DJ and possible ordering another dish to share.

Drinks were very good. Tried the “Wayland” and “Downtown” cannot go wrong with either of them. Cod and gumbo were delicious as well. Service could’ve been a little faster. I would return in the summer to enjoy drinks outside.

This was our first time at Blu Violet. The menu is limited but the items we had were delicious. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked & smelled great. We each had a craft cocktail, which we loved. It’s a great location and we can’t wait to go back when the weather is milder, as there is a stunning view from the outside patio
