   I had high hopes for this restaurant. The menu looked very good and the food at the restaurant next door was very good (although the service was not), so when I booked this for me and my wife's anniversary I felt pretty good. The restaurant if very nice looking. They really put a lot of thought into the space. This made me feel even better about going there. Unfortunately it was downhill from there. Drinks were fine and priced accordingly. Then came the appetizer. We shared a Tuna Tartare. The flavor was ok but the quality of tuna was not great compared to what you would get at other seafood restaurants for the same price. As we just finished our appetizer, and before the server even removed the dishes, our entrees arrived. No chance to get a breath or enjoy our drinks. Things went from not great to worse. I had the Cod al Limon. The fish was ok but a little too salty. The pesto pasta was ok but had almost no salt. The brussels sprouts were awful. They were steamed and had pieces of bacon that looked like it was steamed along with the sprouts. I ate the sprouts because I was hungry but come on, steamed and no flavor or seasoning? My wife got the Mahi Mahi that was supposed to have a mango sauce. The fish was really bland and the sauce was under it and honestly tasted like apple sauce straight from the jar. We didn't complain, we still tipped the server 20% even though there was not even a Happy Anniversary or a thank you for celebrating with us (I double checked that I put that information on my open table reservation). We went straight to a different seafood restaurant just down the street to finish with cocktails and desert and as usual, they were amazing. Sorry Blu Seafood, you need to do better.

   Second time here. First time was very good. This time was not.  had a 630 reservation and was not seated until 7 PM. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and the guacamole. The bartender seemed irritated by our presence. Dinner was the ribeye Aguachile and the meat was so grizzly I could not eat it. The salmon was very good.

   Service was horrible. Nobody ever checked on us again after we received our food - which they also messed up so our entrees (2 of them) came out about 30 minutes apart. The food was bland and the Chilean Sea Bass dish tasted like the fish was frozen for a while. The side salad that came with it had NO dressing and seemed like lettuce was just thrown on the plate with some diced mangoes. Definitely NOT worth the $46. BEWARE: They also charge an extra 2% if you use a credit card. It was the only time we’ve tipped so low for a restaurant in our lives. Don’t plan to come back and if you’re looking for seafood, go to Buck & Rider down the street instead.

   Food is excellent. The atmosphere is nice; it was quite loud due to the vaulted ceilings. Service was good, waiter was wonderfully nice, just slower service probably due to staff available.

   Our dining experience was good. I enjoyed my food but others in our group thought it was ok. One comment was the BLU tacos were covered in too much sauce which made them a fork and knife entree similar to enchiladas. The tempura shrimp and calamari appetizer was pretty good.

   We had a large party and the service was not what it should be. Only 2 other tables in the restaurant with people. First time here and food was good. Service needs a huge improvement though.

   Overall the food is good with inventive dishes and good cocktails. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated with a modern flare. We sat at a table with half the seating as a couch like booth and the other side chairs. The couch side sat quite low (you felt like you were sitting in a Kindergarten chair) and the material was pretty stained.

    We came here w a big group and were greeted immediately. It Wasn’t crazy busy but they only had two servers working about 7 tables between them. Rarely saw our server after we ordered. We asked for a refill of water for the table and it took about 10-15 min for them to finally bring water over. The food was good but not for the price…. Also The amount of food for the price was laughable …. The restaurant has potential…. Needs some more employees and better presentation/amount of food.
