Blu on the Hudson is thrilled to welcome Gabe Conte of Vera Wines as we curate a 6 course meal, featuring small production, artisanal wines sourced from Italy. The line-up will include Sparkling from Lombardy, a Beautiful Sicilian White, Stand-out Barolo and Brunello di Montalcino, and an exceptionally rare and absolute stunner from Taurasi, not to mention a 20-year-old Vin Santo to cap off the experience. Gian Lucca Mazella, who crafts the stunning Taurasi red (only 4000 bottles/year!) will be flying in from Italy to join us, and illuminate this phenomenal and industry changing project. Please join us in our Private Wine Room for a toast and reception at 6:30, followed by a 6 course meal curated by Executive Chef JC Ortega, paired with these hard to find wines, by Sommelier Adam Greer, in our elegant dining room.

Had a delightful dining experience - Sunday brunch. Beautiful ambiance, fantastic service, and exceptional food. I had the shrimp and crab Cobb salad. Highly recommend!!

This place is very high end, with a very elegant ambiance and excellent service. I will say, with the exception of the special roll (surf and turf), I felt the other rolls were just OK. Expensive for what they are but perhaps this place is more about ambiance and elegance than it is for foodies. I enjoyed the meal and will go back, but I may order something different next time. For context, I split 5 rolls with my wife so we tried essentially all the rolls on the menu (with the exception of the one with shrimp tempura).
