Blu Grotto Ristorante consists of a beautiful conservatory dining room, large outdoor decks and an open air Beer Garden open Thursday-Sunday

Chef James Corona’s Menu consists of Modern adaptations of Regional Italian Classics, hand made and imported dry pastas, fresh seafood and prime steak. Chef Corona believes that the Italian method of serving only the freshest and locally grown, makes for the best possible ingredients.

Our beverage program consists of artisanal cocktails, extensive beer and by the glass wine offerings and a deep wine list by the bottle that has perennial favorites as well as esoteric wines from around the world.

This was my third time at Blu Grotto. I love the ambience here! My first experience there was five stars on every level, back in May 2023. I returned last summer to a disappointing experience, but just gave it another try yesterday and enjoyed my time there. The menu is quite limited, but the quality of the food is very good. The portions are small, considering the pricing. Our party left pleased that the food was very tasty (although a few were still hungry).

I have always loved this place but this experience was different. I wonder if the management or chef changed? Some favorites are no longer on the menu, the food was mediocre and the service was terrible. The manager was nice enough to bring us a free drink without asking but still… not nearly as good as it has been in the past.

We've been to the Grotto many many times before. This time was awful. The service was very uneducated in the menu and presentability to the table. No knowledge of how some things were made. Had to ask for a wine list. Specials - which we had to ask for - were unavailable on a Saturday night at 7PM! Coffee machine was broken. Management was non-existant. So disappointing. We won't be coming back any time soon. Siuch a shame.

Everything was acceptable and nice but the hostess tried to seat us at a very undesirable table when so many others were available, no flexibility, others also had the same experience, she claimed we were booked for that particular table but there was no sense in it

Overall, everything was just lovely. It’s such a beautiful place. My only criticism is that our order was taken shortly after getting our cocktails. No more than 5 minutes later they were bringing us our food. We had only taken a couple of sips of our cocktails and would have liked to enjoy them for a bit longer before dinner. No chance for wine with our meal.

Perhaps we got a new server this evening. The usual superb service was a bit off. My wife and I typically share a 4course meal — salad/appetizer, primo (pasta), secondi (main ) and desert — here and trust the server to pace the dish arrival. This time, though, the salad arrived without a plate to share, but we made do with bread plates. Then, Ther was an exceedingly long wait for the next meal; so long that other servers kept asking if we were OK. Silly us, we kept responding fine, expecting the primi to arrive soon. Finally, after a long while, the prime and secondi arrived together, and again without sharing plates. Another server fetched some extra plates for us quickly. The meal, as always, was excellent except for these service lapses.

Your food and service are always great. unfortunately, multiple items on the regular menu were not available. We were told they simply didn't have anymore and they ran out. It was only 6pm and we were 1 of only 5 tables that had guests. They were even out of a basic beer. What we did get, was as always delicious. They are very welcoming and service was very nice. We'll be back and hope that next time they have everything available on the menu !

Yet again another great Blu Grotto experience! Entrees veal chop Milanese ( perfectly cooked and huge) and special ink squid pasta with assorted seafood ( clams, mussels, calamari and lobster chunks- in a wonderful seafood broth. Amazing. Dessert shared hazelnut torta caprese- dreamy. We love Blu Grotto! Great wines by the glass ! Great service.
