Food was ok. The location and service was awesome but they need to work on their menu. The food was at best at 3 out of 5. I would still go back but order more drinks and appetizers.
Spectacular all the way around!
Andrew is one of the best men in customer service you will meet!
The staff was so nice and attentive
We came in and celebrated Geoff's 65 Bday
Service and food were good overall
Always good to see Andrew
This was our first time at BLT Steak, and we were pleasantly surprised. The price was what we expected. It’s a la carte, and the sides are the perfect size for two people to share. The food was excellent! The Filet was amazing (at the top of my list for a Filet) and cooked to perfection (Med Rare). And the fresh Stripped Marlin was the best I’ve had on the island!!! The service was great, but the server was not as personable as I would have hoped. Nothing to ruin the night though. The light dimming switch was acting up during service, and the Gen Manager was nice enough to come around and explain the issue. Not that it bothered us though. It was quite humorous actually. If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy a great steak (or fish) give BLT a try. We will definitely return.
I am from the Midwest and know many
great steak houses. The BLT is right up there
with some of my favorites. Everything from
the fresh pop up bread, salad, steak - great dry aged NY strip, wine,
to the baked Alaska desert was outstanding.
Lamb was great. Rib eye medium rare was not juice rather tasteless and dry, very disappointing for a steakhouse
nice food nice service
Servers were very friendly. Quality of food was so-so. Lamb asked for medium rare was well done on both ends. Food took way too long to be served and was delivered to the table warm not hot.
Always a great meal. Always great service.
50th birthday was noted on the reservation with no recognition. I order a medium rare Ribeye and I was told it was served to someone else. 15 minutes later I got a well done Strip that was dry.
The bar service was excellent and our waiter was really good.
Having been to BLTs in DC on a number of occasions I was really disappointed.
Very disappointed in the porterhouse for two. Poor quality cut. Waiter was not present for a majority of the meal. Sides were very small and not impressive. We have eaten at other locations. This one was a disappointment.
Not my first time here.
The service was attentive and professional- first class.
I am a very critical steak lover. The bone in rib eye was perfect. Good portion, perfect crust and exactly medium. One of the best ever. Finishing touches of a garlic bulb and bone marrow was an excellent compliment. I selected a wine that was a wrong pairing and even though my fault, BLT did not charge me for the glass. The following cab recommendation was spot on.
Small but significant, the sides of creamed spinach and corn were not as tasty as I had expected and I would think twice before ordering again.
All in all I would definitely come back for the service and the steak. However, the entire experience seemed pricey, more in line with somewhere with a sunset or great view.
Fantastic service. The GM checked in with our table to be sure our meal was delish and our service was great! The food was wonderful.... recommend partaking in the happy hour at the bar unless you want to drop a wad of cash!
We were celebrating a work anniversary. The restaurant made a note of it and really made us feel special. We had a terrific server, Erin, she was fantastic.
Valentine day dinner
Celebrated Valentine's Day and we tried some place new, BLT Steak in Waikiki. We got there early and had the prefix menu. At $85 each I was thinking this better be worth it. They started us off with a free hors d'oeuvre of a jelly and liver pate with bread. It wasn't something I'd normally eat but I tried it and liked it. For the appetizers she had the oysters and said they were good while I had the salad. We both ordered the filet and when it came it was larger than I was expecting. It was cooked perfectly with a slight crusty exterior and a moist and tender center. There was a foie gras patty on top of the steak. I have to be honest if I had known what it was I would not have eaten it. I'm glad I didn't know as it was delicious. The side choice was mushrooms or peppers and we selected the mushrooms. They were sautéed and seasoned and very tasty. The prefix doesn't come with a baked potato so we ordered one a la carte and as promised it was cooked throughly and big enough to cut in half and share and came with grated cheese, sour cream, bacon and chives. Dessert was a red velvet cake with a chocolate covered strawberry. Our server Edward was very friendly and helpful, and made our meal a great experience.
Restaurant was packed. A bit noisy.
Rib Eye - Great
Spinach Salad - Nothing special - spinach was wilted and not chilled
Hash Browns - Nothing special
Brussel Sprouts - Great
Coffee - Great
Dessert - Great
My favorite of all was the Popover & the complimentary brownie!
Service - Great
Awesome service. Very attentive servers and staff. Incredibly friendly. Top notch food; went home stuffed! Great timr and experience!
Food was fantastic. Service was excellent. And always a great experience.
Meat was great!!!
Birthday celebrations and family
Great staff. Great service
The chef and staff at BLT are TOP NOTCH. I send my best clients here for dinner and they always make them feel like royalty. Thank you Sam & Andrew 🌈♥️
1. DO NOT order "seafood platter". Again, DO NOT order, trust me. It costs $110 and you will be definitely dissapointed. Oysters were especailly very small and you can simply consider them as empty shells. Also, giant shrimps were missing in the platter and the server even did not notice it until we pointed out. We hoped that that was a mistake.... Anway, after that, they served us cool and hot shrimps dishes as an appology but ruined our feeling...
2. We ordered rib-eye and porterhouse steaks, one was properly cooked as we ordered, but the other (porterhouse) was not cooked properly. Some part was medium but some other part of the meat was overcooked.
Conclusion: If you wanna have a good combination of seafood and steak, this is absolutely not the place. If you wanna enjoy good steak, still not a good place. But if you don't mind how much you pay and do not know what is the difference between medicum and well-done steak, this might be the one.
Great service by server and support staff. Food was great we had a wonderful experience.
Food temp was perfect. And flavours superb.
Definetly one of my favourite restaurants for steaks. The sides are well thought out. The desserts varied and covered all needs. The popovers divine. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 out 5 for service is that one of the waiters refilled our sparkling water with still tap water. Service was well paced. I would recommend BLT to anyone and everyone who is looking for a superior meal
While the food and service is good, the prices are ridiculous. I can accept the high food prices, but $28 for a glass of the "house" Merlot is insane.
The person serving our table was extremely inattentive. His impression was that he just did not care.
We had the best waiter and the food was great I like the quiet ambiance
We had my mother’s birthday at the restaurant. The food was good.
Just one thing, I thought the steak was very good, but a bit... cold. I thought it should be just grilled, but was that how you serve your steak? If so I’m sorry, it was very good.
Jeff san was our waiter, he was very nice n friendly.
Thank you very much for the excellent dinner.
