BLT Steak Ratings and Reviews
Never had a bad meal here-the steak is always cooked perfectly- the service is great. The sides are all good. The best popovers - they are always hot and steamy. The tuna tartare is a classic - I wish they would maybe add some new desserts to the menu- but otherwise its great.
All staff were extremely friendly, the food and service throughput the night was exceptional. The drinks we had we great, and our waiters also had great knowledge and gave good advice upon what drinks we should order, corresponding to our personal preferences.
Whenever I am back in the area, I will definitely come back.
Date night for my wife and I. We spent the day in NYC and decided on BLT Steak for dinner. We ate at BLT last year, it was great so we came back. The restaurant was decorated very nicely, the staff was very attentive. I had the short ribs, my wife had the lobster Cobb salad. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and with the Port sauce it was delicious. The Cobb salad was also delicious. BLT brings popovers instead of bread with dinner. All in all this is a great place, I highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful meal at BLT Prime. The service was outstanding and the managers went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Our food was excellent and prepared just as we asked. We had our 2 younger children with us and they did everything to accommodate them and make them feel special. Highly recommend!
I have been to BLT Steak several times and have had good experiences. This time, our service was a bit slow. Also, my son got sick immediately after eating his meal and it put a damper on the rest of our evening out. I would say this time, the food was only OK.
BLT Steak does not disappoint - the NY Strip was cooked perfectly as requested at Medium Rare, the Chilean sea bass was excellent, fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. Standard menu does not disappoint!! The specials - roasted cauliflower and squash salad with bacon were disappointing and bland. But overall - a high recommend.
Very disappointed. For a restaurant purportedly known for its steaks, two of our steaks were cooked horribly and one so tough it was inedible. Our question as to the cook was greeted with superior disdain as if to say we did not understand the difference between a well cooked steak and an overcooked one. For a 400.00 meal, go to Gallagher's instead. Incredible, well cooked steaks and impeccable service.
$260 for 2 and the tables are crammed together, service was sporadic and seemed haphazard. Average CabSauv at $20+ a glass. It wasn’t great TBH. Saved by the excellent food. I was so excited about having a good steak and it was fantastic, as was the lobster bisque. Was it worth $130 a head? Only just.
Cousin's get together. Seating was great in an alcove table which help reduce the noise level a little. Food and service top notch as usual. Found reasonably priced great bottle of wine among the wines priced for expense accounts! All in all a great evening out.
Wonderful, warm, and amazing staff. They are well versed on the menu great for conversation or reading a table. The steak is expertly prepared, and there are many options. The one thing missing (though I have heard it rotates on) is some kind of crunchy side dish. However, do not let this detract you, BLT is worth every cent.
