Greet good and service as always.
Overall was too expensive for what you got. I ordered the cowboy steak cooked medium. The steak was overcooked and tough. A big dissapointment. For dessert I ordered the cobbler whjch was equally poor. I ate about half. The bill for a bottle of wine, 2 steaks, 2 sides and a dessert was $270. Would have been ok if it was excellent!
Porterhouse was unreal. Highly recommend.
Wonderful, friendly server. She really took care of us and Caroline was so surprised that she knew her name immediately when we sat down and wished her a happy 10th birthday!
Fantastic food. A must for anyone traveling in DC!
It was great
Staff is always excellent!! Go often, never had a bad experience! Waiters/ Waitresses always knowledgeable of wine and food!
Great service, good food, fun night!
We went mainly for the incredible baby spinach salad, but the happy hour cocktails, complimentary liver pate and popovers made it a wonderful light-ish dinner.
We usually like this restaurant and decided to go on Valentine’s day. Big mistake.. the place was over crowded and the streaks were over cooked. I didn’t complain because it was busy but I was totally looking forward to a nice juicy Wagyu ribeye however it came over cooked and dry :(
Another excellent experience at BLT steak, service along with the food and wine were on point.
Great . People & food was outstanding
Brought my wife and friends for her birthday. Serves was top notch. Food was awesome. We will be hack
Great service and steak was fabulous!
Had a wonderful meal and experience at BLT DC. Shortly after we were seated, the manager asked if we would mind moving our two-person party from a four top to two a two seat table. We happily obliged and for our “trouble” were comp’ed our appetizer and sides. It was a very generous move for no inconvenience on our part.
Ate here on Sat Feb 10 with a reservation. Table not ready for about 10 minutes which was okay. After being seated our first course seemed to take forever to arrive. The wait for the main course was worse. After I asked the waiter to check on our dinner order our steaks were delivered in about 5 minutes. The waiter told us the steaks would be comped due to the delay which was very nice. As soon as we cut into our filets, however, we found them to be tough and sinewy- not what you should have in a filet. This was our third visit to this restaurant during the last 3 or 4 years; it will be our last. We’ve eaten in the BLT in White Plains, NY and -although very noisy- found the food to be good. We’ve also eaten in Other steakhouses such as Morton’s and the Capital Grille in various cities dozens of times. In that context our experience at the DC BLT was absolutely the poorest food and service.
West Coast oysters were crisp and fresh tasting. Wait staff was appropriately attentive. Shared a porterhouse. Would definitely come again for steak.
Pricey, but well worth it for a great meal in a nice steakhouse ambiance. Service was fantastic and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The complimentary popovers are a huge bonus!
A colleague and I were unwinding from a week of meetings in DC. Before heading home we wanted to decompress and enjoy a great steak dinner. That’s just what we got at BLT. We asked for a table in a quiet corner so that we could talk and collaborate. We got that. The service and attention was outstanding and consistent throughout the meal. We each has fillets and we shared creamed spinach. All we excellent.
Classic steak house. Everything was top shelf.
