Our food was delicious and we're looking forward to returning to BLT soon!
We had a great dinner. Our waiter Jon was awesome!! Food was delish!
Felt rushed to get out of the restaurant from the moment we arrived as a perty opf 7 for my wifes birthday. The food was average at best and my steak was tough as rawhide. It was not a memorable experience.
After opera dining. Outstanding food and service. A new favorite. Steak properly cooked and sides we the perfect complement. Service was awesome. Definitely a new top place to dine on my list.
Wonderful food & service!
Service was not great, although the food was perfect. They did not tell me that they had a reserve win list until after I bought a crappy bottle of wine.
Waiter Chris was outstanding-food was excellent-overall fantastic
BLT is simply put, outstanding! The food is so delicious and the popovers are ridiculous! The service is excellent as well. Love this place.
So disappointing. Service was great, atmosphere great but our shared porterhouse steak was so full of gristle it was inedible. The waiter was fantastic and took it off the bill but my husband didn’t get a bite to eat before going to a concert. One of the filet cuts was fine.
The Server (Mike) was fantastic!!! The steaks were phenomenal!!! The jalapeño mashed potatoes (pictured) were a treat. We had a great date night.
What a great experience compared to our last visit. We came to this restaurant last November and it was packed solid and just about everything was mediocre to poor. I wasn't going to return but my wife suggested we give it a second chance. We went this past weekend and it was amazing! All the food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the staff appeared to be having fun. All-in-all, one of our best nights out in Charlotte. The day of the week and time were about the same as our last trip but only about half the tables were seated so maybe that was the difference. Regardless, Sam, our server, was great -- ask for him when you make your reservation. My wife had the fish special and loved it, I had steak that was perfectly prepared. Save a bit of room for some amazing desserts.
It’s a great restaurant. While it’s touted as a steakhouse, the raw fish dishes are really good, too. Always a great mr here
My salad was terrible. I took one bite and was uninterested in eating more. Server didn’t even ask how it was even after noticing it was untouched. There were two flies hovering around our table, and landed on our popovers on several occasions. Used to love BLT, but I have noticed a slow decline and today’s visit might be my last.
My parents are in town (my mom is taking care of me with a surgery recovery) and we wanted a nice dinner and a great wine list and chose BLT Steak. The evening was lovely, service fantastic and dinner phenomenal. Every bite was delicious. We will be back. Thank you!
Easter.. prime rib was only special offering for easter
Although I'd had a bad experience here during Queens Feast (items were just for the feast, not regular menu items), the Easter Brunch was excellent.
The meal and food were great, but I had to say the service was quite terrible. The waiter could not understand our requests very well and spoke in this super soft voice.
1. During the initial order for food, the waiter walked away after the first person he asked to order said she needed some extra time. What she meant was to ask the rest of the party first, but the waiter just left and did not come back until 15 mins later.
2. The waiter kept coming back to the table and asking if we wanted more wine. I think this was very necessary after we said no for the second time. He was relentless until one of us finally ordered another glass of wine.
3. After we ordered the rib-eye, he kept asking us if we wanted to add this butter to the steak, which was very necessary in my opinion because it made the steak way to salty and though we didn't notice it at the time, felt very sneaky.
4. After we finished the meal, I asked for an extra glass of water which never came. The waiter nodded and pretended to understand what I was saying, but I don't think he really did - because he never bought me another glass of water. He only paid attention to who he thought was paying the bill at the table. I guess he was very surprised when we split the bill.
All in all, I think the meal and atmosphere was good, just the service made me feel like the waiter was trying very hard to earn an extra few bucks, which shouldn't be the case at an upscale dining place like BLT Steakhouse.
Amazing food and service
Great food and service!
My second time eating here, this time for my wifes birthday. Not that the first time was bad, but it was even better the second time. I am frequent diner at Delʻs, and food & service were on par or better. They have a little more creativity on their menu vs some of the steak houses in their peer group. Will definitely return soon!
The food and service was impectable. We must have had 7 different people attend our table of 2 just for dinner. The complimentary cheesy crossisant like things along with pate and crostinis and brownie bites were amazing.
Great spot for lunch if you aren't in a hurry. Food is good, but it took almost 30 minutes although the restaurant wasn't busy.
Great location and service for our business meeting.
Superb. Dover sole was amazing! Service also!
It was dinner before a show. Perfect place with excellent t service. Everyone mindful of our time. Food is excellent.
1/2 steaks was overcooked, and the server didn't check as to whether or not they were cooked to our liking. Overall, meal was uninspiring, and the selection was extremely underwhelming relative to the price. The "cheese bread things" they serve after the patte are borderline burnt and flavorless. The "poached" green beans were anything but. The highlight of the evening was the sticky toffee pudding cake with orange ice cream. That was truly delightful. BLT would work better as a dessert room with a smaller footprint. Seating was obnoxiously close to other guests (think Cheesecake Factory). For the price, you can do much better in any midsize city.
I have to be honest, my steak at Outback was better than my ribeye at BLT Steak. I've eaten here many times and I was so disappointed this time. There was nothing special about my food, especially considering the price. The popovers were a letdown, the pate was poorly presented, my sides were lukewarm.
I can't say enough about our experience at BLT Steak. My fiance and I had just gotten engaged earlier that day, and yeah, I would expect a little bit better service given that information, but what they offered was above and beyond. It felt as if we were the only people dining there. I hesitate to say this because i don't want them to be taken advantage of in the future, but at the end of a meal that probably cost $3-400 with all the free champagne they gave us, they literally only charged me for a diet pepsi. I was fully happy paying full-price considering the quality of the food and service but this was nuts. I'll never forget that, especially during such a busy weekend, we were treated so well.
Typically never return food but steak was cooked incorrectly twice. The manager apologized and didn't charge for the steak which ruined the entire dining experience. The lobster cobb salad was mediocre with very little lobster. Popovers were great - second time going and probably the last.
Ordered steak medium, arrived medium well to well. Guy at table next to us complained about his food, said he would eat it anyway. Manager told him he would take it off his bill and also if he and his date came back for breakfast, he could eat for free. Nice that he was trying to make it right, but irritating that I spent at least double what he did on food and wine and did not complain and just got a "thanks for dining with us". This guy gets a free steak and free breakfast for being difficult. Service was great. May or may not be back.
Fabulous meal! It was four of us and service was fast and even made a special request dish for one of us. Will definitely return!!
This was some of the best food we have had in a while. They first brought out a chicken spread with bread, then fresh pop overs (complimentary). The cocktail I had, the Peppered Rose, was refreshing and good—I’d say the cocktails are a bit overpriced though ($17). Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. I had the rosemary chicken which was probably the best chicken I’ve ever had—it had some type of rosemary stuffing underneath the skin and it was all tender and juicy, super flavorful. My fiancé had the bone-in ribeye (I had to get a bite and it was also amazing.) We had some of the best bacon brussel sprouts I’ve ever had too, and I get these a lot. They were cooked perfectly and the sauce was great. We also had jalapeño mashed potatoes which were good but nothing amazing. Overall, great experience! Be sure to go through the Ritz valet and get your ticket validated for free at the restaurant!
We decided to have dinner here before the opera.
Our server was amazing and the food was beyond delicious. The steaks were perfect and the sides were awesome
Can’t wait to go back
I was in Charlotte on a business trip, came by myself and had a delicious dinner and superb service
Good food. Decent wine list. Small bar with unhappy bartenders. No ambience, tables too close together, loud.
Fantastic experience. Told them I was getting engaged that evening after dinner and they made our meal very special. Complimentary desserts and waved the corking fee for a bottle of wine I ordered from Napa. We will be back often!
Staff was not friendly at all. The food is extremely salty and we mentioned it to the staff they refused to do anything about it. Ordered toast it was not brought any. Not a good experience. Will not be returning.
BLT clearly overbooked on an evening of a popular concert. We made reservations 2.5 months in advance, and failed to be seated until 40 mins after our reservation. Despite that, we still had enough time (70 mins) to eat a full meal. We ordered our entire service, yet the restaurant failed to bring our entrees out. We had to walk out after being seated for 70 mins and we still missed the beginning of the concert. The restaurant manager has insisted that he will make right by us, and I will update this review that occurs.
We arrived at 5:30 and ordered our main course at 6:15. The food did not arrive until 7:43. We missed a significant part of out concert. The entire experience was ruined We frequently go to events downtown but had never eaten here before and will never again
