My favorite steakhouse in nyc. It’s our first choice whenever we want a nice steak dinner.

Kudos to the maitre d who assisted a growing party and very helpful. Food is always delicious and consistent between the different BLTs.

Went here for my boyfriend's birthday. Service was impeccable and the food was incredible. Definitely coming back soon.

Great service.

Unfortunately they were quite busy and served the steak barely warm. The waiter knew this and came up to me after my first bite and asked if I wanted it hotter. He clearly was concerned.

Upon leaving I couldn’t help but notice (open kitchen) all the precooked steaks sitting in a pile on the range..

Wanted the steak to be have had a little more care in preparation. Was a little charred on the extirior for medium. Sides were overly done on the exterior and not cooked in the middle. They seemed hurried.

This restaurant is so noisy--both pounding music and people noise that the overall experience is quite unpleasant. I won't go back.

High quality food, including a amazing salads, steaks and desserts. Large portions, unusual for an upscale restaurant. Friendly, highly efficient and courteous service. Best steak house in town!

Best steaks and great appetizers

It's very pricey and very crowded but the food is expertly prepared and presented. It's very crowded and loud. And, of course, it's pricey. If you love a good steak then this a great place to go with a date or with a crowd. It's not terribly romantic nor intimate, but fun.

A favorite place in the neighborhood. Food is always perfect

This is by far my favorite steakhouse in the city. Everything is perfect; the steak, the apps, the cocktails, the service, the decor, and the ambience. I’ve never had a cut of meat here I’ve been dissatisfied with; the porterhouse for 2 is about perfect. The truffled mashed potatoes are to die for. The tuna tartare is the best in the city, and the popovers are incomparable. Can’t recommend enough.

Amazing. The service, food, ambiance were all perfect for a Birthday dinner. They even placed a cake, and mini-brownies (which were so rich and decadent) for my wonderful girlfriend on the house, complete with a small candle to complete the vibe. The porterhouse stake for two was excellent, the popovers were iconic, and the wine was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant many times over to anyone wanting to celebrate a special day, as well as just coming for a new culinary experience.

BLT is a guaranteed great meal with incredible service in a fabulous setting. We go back once a month.

Great ambiance and great service. Porterhouse came cooked medium in center and almost well done near edges (ordered MR) which I keep experiencing all the top steakhouses these days (just happened few weeks ago at Bowery). Am I crazy to expect a steak cooked to a proper temperature at a high end steak house? Frustrating. Oysters were great answered actually the Caesar was one of the best I have had. Crab cake was disappointing. Once replacement steak came out, it was predictably undercooked rare but at least we could now enjoy the steak and it did taste amazing.

The steak is always amazing! The service is always on point.

Waitress was wonderful! Steaks were not cooked to specification. Baked potato was not cooked long enough. Wonderful dessert presented to us for our anniversary! Enjoyed our night!

Amazing service and delicious food, what more can you ask for?

It was everything I expected.

Every three minutes we were pestered by someone either asking us if we wanted something, removing something from the table adding something to table and generally disturbing us. It reminded of being a 2 year old in a high chair.

Had a wonderful dinner. Drinks, appetizers and entrees were excellent as was the service. Highly recommended.

Steaks were excellent and the servers were top notch. Not sure I understood why the thunderous bass was thumping so loud in the background all night for a 7 pm dinner on a Thursday, but maybe I am turning the corner on getting old??? Anyway I will be back for the food and service which were both really tops.
