   As always, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in and outside of New York. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful. We got the branzino, the filet, cacio e pepe pasta with scallops, Caesar salad, and gelato for dessert. Still one of the best parts of the experience are the famous popovers and the special sea salt and butter to go with them. SO GOOD!!! This is my go-to special occasion or out-of-town visitor dining spot. Thank you and can’t wait to come back!

    New menu- NOT happy! There was a great combo of sirloin/side/glass of wine - for $65. Suddenly that disappeared- now much more expensive! No longer worth it! Go to Hawksmor - get the rump steak- better & cheaper!! Sorry to say goodbye to a local spot…

    We live in the neighborhood and have been here many times. The food is always good - find the most consistency in filet and strip and cocktails are amazing. They recently removed the NY Strip special for $65 which included a $14 side and $17 glass of wine. That adds a considerable amount to the check. Over past few months service and kitchen have become very inconsistent. Last night we waited almost an hour between ordering and having entrees on table. And not once did anyone show up to give us a reason or ask how we were doing. Our server was clearly overwhelmed and avoiding us as she magically appeared the second the entrees were delivered. That’s the 3rd time over past few months we’ve experienced this. For a $300 check for 2 people this place needs to get its staffing and service mode in order - too many other places to choose from.

    I have dined at BLT a number of times since it opened several years ago and have always enjoyed the experience.. Last night I split a Porterhouse Steak with my son and my wife had the Dover Sole. The steak was cooked properly (medium rare) but was not, in my opinion a prime cut as it was both tough and grainy.

    Our meal at BLT Prime was outstanding. The meal starts off with complementary popovers and crostini with a pate spread . The popovers were delicious with some whipped butter and the pate was ok though I’m not the biggest fan of pate in general. We got the NY strip and the Cowboy ribeye, with French fries and brussel sprouts. Both of the steaks were flavorful and succulent. The house made steak sauce gave the each bite another tasty profile to change it up if we wanted to. The Cowboy ribeye also came with roasted garlic that you can spread on like butter, as well as a bone marrow chunk you can scoop out of. The French fries had a good crunch and outer crispy texture. The brussel sprouts had a slight sweetness of honey with the savoriness of bacon. For dessert, we got the Lava cake, and it also comes with a scoop of Vanilla icecream. The Lava cake didn’t have the flowing lava you’d think of Lava cake having but it was still rich and chocolatey. Along with the icecream to cut through the chocolate, it was a perfect end to the meal. Also, the service was attentive but not overbearing. Thank you BLT Prime!

    It was incredibly noisy and I feel like there should be more sound-absorbing materials on the walls. Also, "flowers" in sconces on the wall are horrible. Always love the food...one of our favorite places

    Went for my wife’s birthday. The steaks were cooked perfectly and delicious. The sides were all to our liking. And the cocktails were delivered with an ample pour. Our waiter was attentive and did not Hoover over us and deliver terrific service. Recommend this restaurant highly

    This is my neighborhood steakhouse, and I dine here quite often. I always order the New York strip, but for some reason this time it was extremely tough and flavorless. I hope it was just an off night for the chef.

    The Featured Choice Tomahawk steak was delivered rare. NOT what we ordered. They can't get the featured steak right?!? Poor form. The beet salad was over spiced and we did not eat it. Don't order the mushrooms. Not sure why they offer that. It's nothing. Wrong cocktails delivered at first. Management staff is inexperienced and disingenuous about caring.

    My husband and I like to go to different steak restaurants in Manhattan every year on our anniversary. This being our 30th, we were looking for something new. We happened upon BLT Prime. And we are really glad we did! The restaurant itself is beautiful - tables are far enough apart that the noise level is low; the attention to detail is exquisite. The service was impeccable. Everyone was lovely and our main waiter, Aldo, was knowledgeable, friendly, gave us space, and knew the menu very well. We shared a steak and salmon and each had a glass of wine. The steak was cooked perfectly, as was the salmon (and that miso glaze!) and we added asparagus and fingerling potatoes. Delicious. And we topped it off with Amaretto and Lava Cake. And, I would be remiss not to mention the popovers. They come with butter, piping hot, and with a nice touch of a giant salt shaker. Just a really great place. It looked like there were regulars there and while we won’t go back often, we definitely will go back!

    A family favorite spot. We typically go to BLT Prime for special occasions as the prices are high, but it never disappoints. The popovers are delicious and one could make a meal just of all the delicious sides. Plenty of scrumptious fish and chicken options for non meat eaters as well. Highly recommended.

    What a gem on upper east side of Manhattan. Beautiful warm , slightly crispy popovers to start and the most refreshing Hemingway Daiquiri ever! We had the pasta Bolognese special and rack of lamb - delictible. Servers had everything times perfectly.
