Attentive staff, perfectly cooked meal, great ambiance. Thank you.
Outstanding service, and amazing ambiance. The food was classic steakhouse fair, and very well done. You won't be sorry starting with the bacon appetizer.
Everything was beautiful and amazing! I loved the octopus tiradito and the Alaskan oysters!
Came here with my wife for lunch while staying at the hotel. The food was good. Nothing stood out. The clothesline bacon and strip steak were great. Brussels sprouts were ok and the chicken blt was dry. I don't mind spending a lot for amazing food but this was underwhelming.
I felt a little insulted when the server asked to see that my room number and name were legible because I had one drink. (His words, not mine)
The view of the Trump International D.C. lobby was by far the best part of the experience. Would probably not revisit the restaurant.
Alexandra was top notch, as was everything presented. Wholeheartedly recommended!
This was in my bottom three steakhouse experiences of all time (the only 2 worse? Morton's downtown and Ruth's Chris just north of Dupont--which both have poor service). The service at BLT was sub-par. It took a very long time to be greeted by our server and he often forgot about us (he forgot my dessert wine at one point, too). In addition, he would approach our table and literally stand there and say nothing. It was very odd and made us feel very uncomfortable. As for the food, we got the oysters to start, which were fantastic. However, both of our steaks were not very good. My mother got a ribeye, which she claimed had no flavor. I got the 10oz. filet, cooked rare, and it was so tough that I was getting a workout trying to cut through it. We got whipped potatoes, brussel sprouts, and mushrooms with our steaks--all were good.
Second time here. My filet was overcooked and actually burnt on the outside. The other two guest had wonderful wonderful dinners.
Perfect place for a special occasion.Definitely we will go back!
Outstanding experience! All food was excellent, and the quality of the meal was only exceeded by the outstanding service. The decor is gorgeous. Highly recommend!
Excellent customer service.
the restaurant like the hotel is outstanding, simply perfect
Food and atmosphere were terrific. Service was excellent.
Hostess and Busboys were great!
Waiter was terrible , rude, did not even introduce himself when he came to take the order, slightly warmed up towards the end when he saw my AMEX Black Card, hopefully if we return he will no longer be there ! Needless to say that we were celebrating my Birthday and I had mentioned it when I made the reservation!
they did Nothing special, not even a cookie with a candle ...NADA
Thanks. Had a great dinner. Wonderful service, and excellent food.
Amazing place beautiful and great food and service
Excellent service. Attentive staff and perfect wine and food pairing advice.
Service and experience were off the charts.
Pop Overs alone would get this place 5 stars
Very good restaurant inside Trump Hotel (but NOT owned or operated by Trump). Lovely open sunny room in hotel lobby, not overpriced, good food, excellent service.
We truly enjoyed the evening-food was incredible!
It is beautifully decorated. The Clothesline Bacon was delicious and appeared to be a popular appetizer. The meal was served in a timely manner. The service was friendly and my family was treated very well.
Excellent experience with breakfast and the staff. I would rate Chenee Williams the bartender a 5/5. She is so personable and knows the history of this former central post office, OPO. Chenee took care of us and had lunch served to my daughter at the bar within her one hour conference schedule. The whole time she had a servant attitude while giving us the history lesson. The best way to describe the service here is “better than the Ritz” and I have been to the best! I will come back and it’s because of the service and Chenee! Ask for her if you go to the lobby bar and enjoy your time!
Seats looking over the hotel lobby and atrium are awesome. Make sure you request a table overlooking the atrium.
food was great. oysters and steak for dinner.
Magnificent view of the hotel atrium and clock tower was somewhat overshadowed by the unfriendly welcome. Hostess was not nice. Manager was in constant view of our table, and he had repeated tantrums with the goings on. Don't know the reason for the constant displays of anger....I did see a few tables send back their undercooked steaks. Our food was fine and cooked properly. I'd skip the hanging bacon next time; very thick and fatty. Lobster bisque was very good. Brick chicken, and bone in rib-eye were great. The wine list was way overpriced, even for this level of dining. We ended up getting glasses of wine instead of a bottle. Our wine was good, but something I could get locally for a fraction of the price; no value there. The hotel was beautiful; the music was not...consisted of a constant beat of euro techo repetition.....got on our nerves after 15 minutes. All in all, there are much better steakhouses, but this one has the beautiful grand backdrop of the Trump hotel lobby, so I would recommend at least one visit.
Excellent meal, service, ambiance and President!!!!!
Fantastic!!! Daddy daughter time and it was awesome! Food was superior to fine dining at home. Atmosphere was perfect for talking and laughing. Waitress and all staff were first class from the moment we set foot on the property!
The best steakhouse in DC. Enjoy the view of the gorgeous Trump Hotel lobby while eating a delicious steak.
Fantastic food , service and atmosphere !
Excellent atmosphere. Incredible service and the wine selection is the best in Washington.
Trump does it right. Make America great, again.
One of the best restaurants in the DC area!
Service was excellent. Food was excellent.
Great experience at 1:45pm on a Sunday. Very quiet. Excellent food. Friendly service. 5 stars.
Little disorganized wait staff. Can be more efficient
The staff was great, as was the location and atmosphere. However the $140 tomahawk steaks were cold and and very little flavor.
We asked for a booth, told we could be accommodated, yet we were seated at a banquet. We were told they don't seat 3 at a booth, then they seated the GM, party of 3, at the booth. Just tell us the GM is coming in.
They took our white linens to exchange for black ones, but we had to ask again for linens once the food arrived.
Lobster Bisque was delicious, yet really salty. I didn't mind the pieces of shell, since that told me the lobster was real! And hopefully fresh. The popovers were divine, as was the bacon.
When we asked for the check to be split, we were told it was pretty even, and we should just split 3 ways. It was actually NOT very even, so we had to be creative on tip. You have conventions guests all the time, so that shouldn't be a difficult request.
Overall, a lovely evening, just with a couple of small hiccups.
First time visit to DC and the restaurant served delicious food and great atmosphere! Definitely will be returning when back in town!
The atmosphere is vibrant we were seated on balcony over the huge lobby was surprisingly enjoyable. Our meal matched with impressive salad and delicious PRIME steaks. Daniel was our waiter and never said no to any request.
Over an hour late because table was not ready at the time reserved. No proactive service. No offering of coffee or dessert. No white tablecloth, very disappointing.
Great food in a beautiful setting. Service was superior.
