An exciting new kitchen residency between Blower's Place and Origin Coffee, serving up the best of Cornish produce cooked over fire. Across brunch, small-plates and dinner, 90% of our ingredients come from within 25 miles of our site, a mere five minute walk from the bustling harbour of Porthleven.

A converted shipping container is where we operate from, firing a beautiful Gozney wood oven and a few grills, using sustainably sourced wood from Falmouth. As a pop-up kitchen, we serve on sugarcane paper plates and with real cutlery - but we hope that we can move to a plumbed-in kitchen next year. We've seating for 25 inside, and a further 40-50 on our outside terrace. Origin run a stocked bar of natural wines, local beers and seasonal cocktails.

    Really good food celebrating local seasonal produce cooked to perfection using fire and smoke. Dinner for 4 plus a bottle of wine for less than £30 per person, bargain!

    An absolute favourite of ours for brunch, lunch and dinner. Extremely high quality produce, (veg, fish + meat) brilliant cooking, an incredibly friendly and accommodating team, and a great spot to hang out near Porthleven.

    Good food,unusual, interesting and delicious combinations, all 5* except the chicken, we think it needs to fall off the bone more,great beer, customer service good but could do with some more joined up thinking. More explanation needed about where to order the food and the beer. Some people arriving look a bit lost. One round table is very small to put all the plates for two diners.

    These folks are trying to be something they aren’t and can’t be. Paper plates for poncy food just doesn’t cut it. Keep it simpler and ramp up the quality!

    Wasn’t quite sure how this was going to pan out when we booked it but it was excellent! The tables are located in the Roastery and once you’ve chosen from the menu, you pop outside to the Blowers ‘kitchen’ and order and your food is brought in when it’s ready. The food was absolutely delicious - fantastic flavour combinations and cooked perfectly. We chose 1 large plate and a selection of small for the 2 of us, a lot of food but we ate every morsel and then ordered pudding! The barista in the Roastery was personable (as were the cooks in Blowers) and extremely knowledgeable about coffee. Good selection of drinks, both alcohol and non-alcohol. A great place - can’t wait to go back!

    Delicious fresh food expertly prepared. Lovely combination of flavours. Standout small plates of carrot, coriander and miso anchoide, smoked potatoes with garlic butter and Basque cheesecake for dessert. Highly recommended.
