Featuring plant based ingredients, elevated cooking techniques, a creative beverage list and a colorful ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. Blossom & Root is the Tri-Valley dining destination for anyone curious about - or naturally inclined towards contemporary vegan fare with an "Eat Local" emphasis. Private dining is available. The pretty space is full of blue patterns and hues, with lots of plants (decorative and possibly edible). Featuring just as creative of a bar program as menu. Steven Diehl has elevated the bar program to match our eclectic menu by Chef Chris Johnson. Together the team puts out beautiful food and beverages not to be missed.

Very cute place in a great spot downtown. Service is attentive and kind. Food is good and nicely presented. I’m not vegan but I eat mostly a plant based diet and I really enjoy all things veggie so I was curious. I was impressed with the number and variety of options offered in the menu, and the richness of flavors and textures. I will go back to continue exploring their menu, specially deserts. I’ve given them three stars because I think it is a bit overpriced but very recommendable for lunch/brunch.

SO happy to have found this wonderful restaurant. We are always complaining about the lack of good plant based and vegetarian food in Walnut Creek and are thrilled that we found this restaurant. Food was so tasty and creative, service was attentive and kind and the atmosphere was lovely. We'll be back! Highly recommend

Our food was very good. The tofu lettuce cups were uniquely prepared and delicious. The burger was one of the best vegetarian burgers I’ve ever had. The drinks were disappointing. Our cocktails were so watered down, we wondered if there was even any alcohol in them. Considering the price of the drinks, it was a letdown.

First time having a cocktail here. The strawberry margarita was excellent. The salt rim was delightful and the strawberry garnish was the sweetest strawberry I've ever had! My friend had the raspberry margarita. She enjoyed it very much as well. For dinner, we each had the Kale & White Bean Soup. Delicious and comforting. We also shared: Tofu Lettuce Cups - Wow! Amazing how they made tofu and rice sing harmoniously together! The sauce was the perfect match. Mushroom Steak Salad - The mushroom was hearty. Loved the bleu "cheese" dressing. The combination of textures was lovely. The service was excellent. I don't know how Steven did it all. He was our server and bartender. He was friendly, professional in a casual and welcoming manner.

The food was delicious. There were lots of gluten-free options. The service was decent. Our main course took a bit longer than we had hoped for, but it was served in an acceptable time. Visually, the ambience was very pleasant. We didn't care for the raucous rock music, which had some artistic merit but clashed with every other aspect of the restaurant.

This was our first time eating at the restaurant, the service was pleasant the food was so well displayed, also delicious I had the fried tofu bowl .. when I come to the area will definitely eat there again..
