Excellent brunch menu.We were looking for lunch but brunch worked. Friendly servers and staff. We were not rushed at all. Nice view of the busy street outside. Music a bit loud for our taste but it helped mask a rather chatty crowd. Fun place. We will be back.

At first glance the menu items sounded interesting and upscale and pricing was reasonable. Food however was mediocre. The meatloaf was inedible — super salty, overly dense and overcooked. Gnocchi appetizer was bland and had a long hair in it. Craft cocktails were very good. I would only recommend going for drinks and have dinner elsewhere. Service was just okay, very slow to return to table, take order etc.

Second visit and just as good. Unique beautiful fresh cocktails a one fresh Mocktail all great. Starters of bone marrow and zucchini blossoms were outstanding. Our party ordered the Chilean seabass a but $$ but the split it for us with many fresh veggies, very good. Our friends ordered the burger and although good not great, it’s 2 thin patties. Side of Brussels sprouts were delicious with maple syrup rven hubbie who duesmr low Brussels sprouts loved them. Can’t wait to return.

Great experience!!! Made reservations through OpenTable, we were running late due to two accidents on the 5. I sent them a message and they told us not to worry. We arrived, we're promptly seated with the rest of our party. Ordered a lot of drinks, delicious brunch meals and desserts. We were celebrating a birthday, so they even brought a candle. We were not rushed, but we weren't waiting. Great ambiance and would highly recommend!!!

The food was innovative and fun. We opted to have appetizers like one would tapas, and it was a choice we enjoyed. Our server Briana was a joy and made the evening special. The noise level was 'energetic' but did not interfere with the our table conversation. However, our table was right next to the bar and at some point the bar area became very, very noisy and unfortunately the table was placed too close to the bar, which was uncomfortable at times.

This was our first dining experience at Bloom. The food was excellent! We started with the crispy squash blossoms stuffed with manchego cheese & roasted garlic and the pate of bacon, bourbon & duck liver. Delicious and we would definitely order again. For entrees we had the half chicken and Tuscan mixed greens salad and the herb marinated pork porterhouse chop. They were cooked perfectly and so tasty. The Tahitian vanilla bean & blood orange cheesecake was the perfect dessert. The service could not have been better. Can’t wait to revisit.

Had a lovely dinner at Bloom restaurant with friends. Location is across from the lit up SJC Mission and with open windows in the restaurant it created a very nice ambience. The service was excellent; attentive, non-obtrusive, and friendly. The food was comfy but with an elevated fine dining touch.

From the moment we arrived we were taken care of! It was our anniversary and the hostess congratulated us as she led us to our table (proof she had read the comments in Open Table) and our waiter Ryan was so attentive! They treated us to a champagne toast, a comp’d appetizer and two comp’d desserts for the occasion. The food was delicious and creative and the portions were huge. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful restaurant! What a wonderful addition to downtown SJC!

What a beautiful double date night we had at Bloom! One direction we had a gorgeous view of the Mission San Juan Capistrano & the other side view of the bustling kitchen. Love that! We were greeted by our friendly waiter Darin, who just made our night with his attention to detail and super friendly yet easy going personality. He listed off the specials in great detail, which I love, especially if it’s not listed on a menu for one to read. I ordered the off menu special cocktail, the FALL and it was delightful! The Sea bass entree is literally THE best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. My husband had the meatloaf and cleaned his plate. Our guests also enjoyed their meals, 1 ordered the Sea Bass as well and 1 ordered the Pork Porterhouse. Let’s just say, to go boxes weren’t needed, since there was nothing left to take to go! One of the owners Kyle came over and introduced himself, which was a nice touch as we are locals and will be back for another wonderful experience in the near future!

Went for ladies brunch. Great seat by the window. Everyone ordered something different (burger, chicken & waffles, crème fraiche waffles, pork belly Benedict) and all enjoyed their meal and both rounds of drinks. All topped off with excellent service from Caleb. Will definitely go back for dinner.

Awesome place. Love the interior design, comfortable seating, great service and amazing food. What's not to like?? I love the country fried hanger steak, brunch is a great expereince, and all around Bloom is in my top 5 favorite places to eat in OC.

We love Bloom. We’ve eaten there multiple times and taken friends there as well and have had a great eating experience every time. I feel valued and don’t feel ripped off the next day. We look forward to our next time there.

Great new find. The food, service and atmosphere were awesome. Chelsey our waitress was over the top attentive and so sweet, Kylie, the manager was also so warm and inviting. Highly recommend this for a special celebration.

The food was good but not memorable. Every dish just missing the mark in small ways. I had also anticipated more of a bistro feel and the televisions and pop music felt out of place in the cozy space. The service was the best part of the experience. However I don’t think I’ll be back.
