   First time dining at Bloom. What a treat! All the dishes we had were amazing. Particularly liked the whipped feta and stuffed peppers. The service was superb. Everyone was very helpful and energetic. The one down side was the music level was a bit too loud, but I understand that is pretty common these days. I would highly recommend eating here. I’m not vegan and I loved it!

   We chose this for a vegan relative in town and the food did not disappoint. Delicious — the “caviar” and the oyster mushrooms stood out. Small plates were better than the pastas and there are many good ones ti pick from. The service however was needlessly rushed; perpetually attempting to take dishes that were not finished and even a wine glass with wine left. They were not busy enough - especially in other front section where we were seated — to justify the push to turn our table. It dented an otherwise nice meal.

   Celebration dinner was wonderful. Our server was very knowledgeable and offered suggestions for our party of 5. The food was tasty and we enjoyed the play on different flavors in a dish. Who would think to put Wasabi peas in risotto. We had quite a few dishes with the Carbonara (least inspired) being our least favorite. The cheese board was delicious as well as the stuffed piquillos. The crispy oysters were a wonderful take on fried mushrooms with an unexpected but tasty twist. We also enjoyed both the Ube cheesecake and the Yuzu tart (my favorite of the two) with the Chocolate being our least favorite of the 3. Highly recommend and will be back when we're in Chicago again!

   Service was very slow and the time between the courses and ordering didn't make much sense. The food was small bites at entree prices. Some items were a complete miss and a few were top notch. An example is the oysters, they had potential for great flavor but they were fried very hard for no reason and wish it had more than 2 pieces of broccoli since there were no sides of broccoli available. The drinks were okay but nothing notable. This was our 5th stop of the day of all vegan food and was the biggest disappointment. I was excited to surprise my husband with this dinner experience but I regretted it. It's a very hipster place and I could see the other patrons enjoying it but I assume we are not the demographic for it. It was beautiful decor and a welcoming environment.

    This is the second time we’ve gone this month. It’s absolutely incredible. Food is amazing and Service was spectacular.
