   We had our 10 year anniversary dinner at block one and the overall experience was amazing. One of our favourite dates in our relationship! The server we had was impeccable and so friendly, she went through the menu with us and asked our tastes and had great recommendations. We had the baked Alaska desert and it was delicious. Thank you Block One for the great and memorable meal.

   Our family had an incredible dining experience at Block One. We did the chef’s tasting menu, and it completely blew us away—from the beautifully prepared fish to the unique and flavorful water buffalo tartare, every dish was a standout. The desserts were equally amazing. What truly made the evening special was the exceptional service—our server was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, and the manager even came by to chat with us, which added such a personal touch. This dinner was unforgettable and easily one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

   Beautiful setting . Friendly staff our server was outstanding. Had the equivalent of the house salad . Large expensive and excellent well worth the cost. We then had a mussel dish which was very good . Our last dish was the halibut which I found disappointing . I love halibut and do not think that pieces of what I think was a dried sausage fit with the dish actually tended to make the halibut tasteless. I think some of the meat dishes should be avaialable as single orders. Wonderful location lots of promise.

   The service was fantastic, my girlfriend said the eggs Benedict was the best she’d ever had and my breakfast sandwich was incredible also. No complaints, we’re looking forward to returning!

   Our server Mark, this was his third time looking after our family, and without question he is the best Server in the business. He elevates the experience everytime. The food and location is amazing, but Mark is what really sets this restaraunt apart

   Another impromptu dinner at Block One and very pleased to try the new menu. Enjoyed all the plates we share - scallops, crab, prawns, halibut ~ especially good with the Chardonnay. Final share was the lamb rack with delicious black garlic purée and a glass of Pinot. Mark was our delightful server (he had served us on another occasion as well)…he was masterful in explaining all the delights of the new menu. Thank you for a lovely evening 🍷🥂
