Met a family member to the owner of this gem on the plane. Took my friends to check it out. Very stylish vibe and we were immediately seated in a booth albeit a bit tight. First impressions, the colors and ambiance were as expected with a night club feel. However the music was so loud we quickly concluded that there wouldn’t be much conversation as we could not hear each other from across the table and the yelling got to be too much. We couldn’t even hear the server. We asked if the music could be adjusted ( this was at 6:30pm) which we were told yes but it never came down. Server went right for food order which was strange to not be asked for drinks first. We put in drinks and food order at the same time and the drinks and some amazing popcorn came right out. 5 minutes later we had horsdeoerves at the table. They were fantastic. BUT we hardly had time to enjoy them as our food arrived about 8 minutes later. The food was delicious and the chef greeted us personally. Wonderful touch. 5 stars but a few suggestions. Pace the food a little so it’s not so rushed specially when “ fine dining” and you really want to enjoy the food at a slower pace. TURN THE MUSIC DOWN during dinner time. Just too loud to enjoy and it presented a rushed atmosphere. We ate fast and the whole experience was over in an hour. Too fast when your dropping $600.00 for your party. Otherwise food is great and I wish them all the success in the future.

We made reservations for a Wednesday night. Seated immediately. Wait staff, James and Dave, were very friendly. Food came out quickly and was delicious. The Blk Swan cocktail was suggested by James, and I liked it. 10/10.

Great place to celebrate special occasions. Our waiter was phenomenal and took the time to not only make great recommendations but to also make us feel welcomed. Seafood risotto was a table favorite.

The most overpriced and inadequate dining experience in a pretentiously “top” dining establishment in Baltimore. The atmosphere was very cool and I love the concept, which was clearly visible throughout, in both decor and food. The food was ridiculously overpriced, and not bad but nothing special or creative, some over-seasoned and some under-seasoned. The Chilean sea bass we ordered, while prepared perfectly, was too fishy to eat safely (we didn’t). The waiter, while being super pleasant and helpful (he happily replaced a dirty champagne glass), left us to pour our own wine after the first glass and only refilled our empty water glasses when we were finishing entrees (we had also ordered appetizers). He also didn’t ask about our meals until we were done and likely didn’t see the busboy take away a nearly full plate of sea bass. The music was mostly great (there was a DJ later in the evening), but was too loud to have any semblance of a conversation across the table - felt more like a club than a restaurant. Overall, I would not recommend this place for dinner - perhaps a fun drink later in the evening.

My experience here was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had. I left highly disappointed. It took 38 minutes to be exact to receive our cocktails even though there were only 6 other guests in the restaurant. When our drinks arrived they were incorrect and tasted like a cup full of sugar. WHEN I ORDERED THE DRINKS WE BOTH SAID WE DONT LIKE SUGAR IN OUR DRINKS… when Ty took our drink orders she did not write ANYTHING down. Drink request#1: Don Julio repo in a black glass Drink request# 2: Don Julio repo with lime juice with the smoke and mirror effect I simply explained to Ty that our drinks were incorrect … she rolled her eyes and said “hold on” and went to get her manager. The manager Brandis came to our table taking a deep breath and said “Alcohol is sugar” then proceeded with her solution to the problem she stated “We can remake them the way you like but we have to charge you for both” meaning she was charging us for 4 drinks and we're only drinking We decided to cancel our food and just pay for the 2 drinks and calamari… we did not eat the calamari or drink the drinks and our bill was $92.68 because they included gratuity. I CAN GO ON WITH THIS EXPERIENCE EVEN WITH KITCHEN STAFF SHOUTING FROM THE KITCHEN.

Me and my wife enjoyed our time at your establishment! Like we really loved the vibe the food the ambience and the service was on point as well. We are from philly and we will be driving back down once a month. The lamb chops were to die for, the seafood risotto was popping as well. Please keep up the good work. Thank you

Food and experience is amazing. The place is definitely a great vibe. Only downsides (not really that bad) are that due to the music being very loud (the place has a club atmosphere) I had trouble talking to and hearing the person I was with. Additionally, due to the amazing atmosphere, with a reservation, still expect a 15-30 minute wait as the patrons are enjoying theirselves past the 90 minute limit, but! Once we were in it was extremely easy to see how people can stay past the 90 minutes. Overall, my experience was amazing and I would definitely come again.

The vibe was amazing. I had the seafood risotto and it was AMAZING! We had a reservation and arrived a bit early so we sat at the bar. The bartender was on 10! He got it done, and he celebrated my bday with champagne. Amazing beautiful black service❤️

Excellent service, atmosphere, vibe & cocktails! I recommend the Black Swan cocktail…sooo good! The DJ was awesome! Made you dance in the aisles! Wonderful experience! In my opinion the food was over-priced. It was okay, but nothing to rave about.

Very nice decor, but it is extremely loud, which makes it hard to hear your conversations unless you yell. This, in turn, makes it louder with the loud music. The service was slow, and the server was not attentive. Won't be back.

Blk Swan was recommended to us and I’m glad we decided to take a chance. Upon arrival we were greeted by a pleasant host & hostess. The space decorated in black & white decor with notable pictures of famous people. The service was top notch and David our server knew the menu & specials, and recommended some favorites to us. Let’s just say I’ve never had calamari that tasted this delicious. It was cooked just right bursting with flavor. I had the seafood risotto it was fresh, delicious, seasoned and cooked perfectly!! My husband had the lemon herb toasted airline chicken breast….delicioussss!! We shared a taste of our dishes & the feeling was mutual on how the taste of both dishes exceeded our expectations. We had the blackberry sangrias which was refreshing and tasty. We will most definitely be back for sure.

Every year since my daughter was 3, we get dolled up and go to dinner at a different spot. Blk Swan was by far my favorite. We celebrated her 20th birthday there. The food was phenomenal, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was such a vibe! Chantel made us feel like family from the moment we sat until we gathered our things to leave. We loved it so much we came back for brunch in the am, and they did not disappoint.

This was our first visit to BLK Swan to celebrate our wedding. We were able to note the anniversary when making the reservation. Our occasion was acknowledged by several different team members and we felt very welcomed. We had the lamb chops, which were seasoned plot perfection. The baked Mac and cheese, asparagus and signature chicken box was also excellent. Everything cooked well and flavors on point. The ambiance is stylish , sexy and romantic. There is lively music playing. After dinner, the lights dimmed and the music bumped up a bit. We thought this was because of the time of night but an anniversary song started playing and we were celebrated again by the restaurant with lights and a complimentary dessert. I would recommend this spot to anyone. The price was worth the experience.

I have travelled around the United States, the Carribean, Canada, Germany and Paris. I have to say that as an African American Woman, who is very particular about a high level of service and food that excites by palate, The Black Swan has met every category. The reservation was effortlessly made on Open Table. And from the time my daughter and I were so pleasantly greeted when walking into the front door of the restaurant, seated, and the constant but never too much attention being paid by my server, Kinsey, the entire evening (and it wasn't packed but still busy), could not have been better. It was my daughter's birthday, and she didn't want too much of a fuss. A quiet dinner in a place we both liked. She ordered what she usually orders, lamb chop appetizers which is always just the way she wants, sides of asparagus and mac and cheese. I wanted to try something new and ordered the seafood risotto. We decided to share as I also love leg of lamb. The seafood risotto was absolutely delicious. I fell in love with food all over again. The seafood risotto is now my favorite dish and my daughter told our server Kinsey this is now her favorite, and we both told the Executive Chef the same. The music is lovely with music I knew and music I didn't but kept me in the same relaxed state... the decor is dark and in a warm and comfortable way. I love the Black Swan walls. You have to be here to appreciate it. The Executive Chef was busy but took the time to stop by our booth when we asked the server to tell him we wanted to speak with him just for a moment. They brought her a lovely chocolate dessert, with a candle on the plate and she made a wish, blew out the candle and ate it all. The service, music, ambiance and most of all the food could not have been better. Thank you Black Swan! We will be back with friends and family. It would be a shame not to share this gem with others. People we like and love I want to enjoy this experience as it IS an experience.

Everything was great HOWEVER PLEASE PLEASE STOP PUTTING SUGAR IN THE GRITS!! Leave that to the customer if they want to add salt or sugar. So many people want to order the shrimp and grits or have ordered the entree and end up being disappointed. Please take a poll one day and I’m sure you’ll see.

Were rushed to order entree prior to even receiving appetizer. Said there was dress code online, but it was clear that not all patrons followed the specifications within the dress code. Wish we would have known, could have dressed more comfortable.

The vibe is very much energetic. I enjoyed the DJ music choice. However, I made reservations which asked if there was an celebrations. I indicated I was celebrating my mom's bday. And was asked what was I celebrating upon arrival. Not packed and service was slow. Food was ok, but no so much because it was overpriced. All this...too me!

The ambience was nice, the wait staff was extremely pleasant, personable and accommodating. The food was OK. For the prices that they charge I expected the food to be a little more elevated. But, all in all it was not bad, it was just OK. Unfortunately while the playlist was phenomenal the volume of the music was just too, too loud to have a conversation with people in your party at the same table who were just one or 2 feet away from you.🤦🏾‍♀️. I did have to visit their restroom facilities and I am very happy to say they were clean snd well stocked
