Great place on South side of downtown SA. Service, food, ambiance, attention to detail all excellent. Not one thing they serve is left to chance. I liked the fact that all the servers, bar keeps and even the young guy filling your water glass seemed to care about wgat they were doing and they were friendly.

Bliss is a wonderful treat in both the atmosphere and the delicious dining choices. The ambiance is lovely and the service is definitely above average for SA. We enjoyed the evening and will return. However, we paid with cash and left much more than typical tip....and were not given the choice/our change. Server took the entire amount for granted as a tip and did not return to our table.

That should never happen, regardless of whether we were leaving the entire amount of change for a tip or not.

The Bliss was absolutely the best. We had a fantastic waitress who spent time discussing the right wine and giving us samples before we made our selection. The chef is a genius with food. We wished we lived closer!

Foodie Must!!! I’m a big foodie So after reading reviews I had to try - exceeded my expectations!
The appetizers our table ordered we amazing! Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten: octopus, hamachi tacos & bone marrow all beyond delicious!!! We ordered salads and the duck, scallop & short rib entrees which were all very good too. Good ambience, great wait staff. Nice wine list but wish they had more “by the glass” options, also wish they served cocktails. I will definitely return.

So good! Ambience, wonderful server and the best food in San Antonio so far. Broiled oysters with “olive dirt,” imaginative wedge salad and scallops with avocado mousse. Outstanding!

The service was spectacular. Our server guided us through the menu very well, and was knowledgeable about every dish. The food we ate was delicious—quail, Cajun rice, mashed potatoes, to name a few—was incredible.

Some of the best food in San Antonio period. I suggest a reservation.

We have eaten at Michelin Star restaurants around the world and Bliss is of the quality and flavor of any of the restaurants we’ve eaten at. We will definitely be back time and time again.

Food was wonderful. Two of us had the Pork and Bean and the other two had the scallops. Both dishes were amazing. The service was top notch with our waiter knowing when to show up and when to leave us alone. They even went the extra mile for our anniversary. All in all a perfect way to celebrate 45 years of marriage. This was something special.

Hosting was very courteous. Food was amazing! Wait staff seemed a bit put out.

The visit was great. The staff was very attentive, especially our server props to him.(Wish I could recall the name to put in a good word.) We enjoyed the wine, the appetizer, the entrees, and the dessert. Not once did I feel overwhelmed or uneducated about the items I was receiving. Definitely worth the drive from The Dominion to enjoy such a beautiful evening. Will definetly be back and hopefully to see our great server.

I really enjoy dining at Bliss. The dishes are uniformly excellent, but the charcuterie and desserts really stood out on this visit. We also sat outside which was a great place to enjoy the spring weather.

The food was amazing and the service was great! We did not feel rushed to eat, our waiter was knowledgeable about the food and wine. Although we did not order dessert, our waiter surprised my boyfriend with a piece of chocolate served on a plate with the words "Happy Birthday" and a candle.

I read about Bliss when we were getting ready for a quick weekend vacation. The restaurant was highly rated. It was ok, but not great. I've had much better, and wouldn't rank this in the top 20, in Milwaukee.
