This was an amazing experience and the best food I have ever had. The staff was excellent and the chef was spectacular.
Was a great time for a nicer date. The octopus was excellent.
What an incredible evening! The waitstaff was attentive and extremely knowledgable about the menu. The duck was gorgeous and rich. The scallops in jalepno sauce were over the top. This place never disappoints!
We had a dinner at Bliss last night and the food was good. The ceviche however, was disappointing. It tasted good but there were about 2 spoonfuls. It was absolutely not worth it. The Branzino was delicious and made up for it. We ordered from the fixed menu and everything was nice. The service was incredible and the ambiance was perfect.
Great restaurant with many options to select from in terms of food and wine.appetizers are excellent and main plates are very good portion and very tast
*THE* best meal I have had, start to finish, in a VERY long time. 12/10 recommend. We stan.
The customer service of our server was wonderful down to explaining the menus, suggesting a great white wine, to recommending a delicious butter cake dessert. We had a fantastic night out for our 26th anniversary.
Superb food and service. The duck was outstanding.
Delicious food and excellent service
Amazing food and amazing service. I don’t live in the area but If I did I would come here every night! It was so good and the prefix menu was the best to pick from. We had the pork belly and tostada for starters and they were amazing and perfect portions. Then we had the salmon and short rib, both were cooked perfectly and the meat fell right off the bone for the ribs. We finished with the chocolate cake and the butter cake, both were so delicious and ended up taking the rest to go. The staff was very friendly and helpful in a recommendation on what to get to eat and drink. Definitely recommend this restaurant. It was nice and yet had a casual feel.
This was my first time. Hostess was a doll and our waitress, Amanda, was really terrific. We had the Prix Fixe menu and every course was wonderful. Every dish was delicious and beautifully plated. We sat outside because we couldn’t get reservations inside - that’s the only reason I gave a 4-star rating on ambience. It’s July in Texas so it was a little warm although the patio had a large fan that was great! Overall, I highly recommend.
Visited Bliss Saturday night for dinner for 4 at 6:00 pm. The hostess was very accommodating as we ended up being a little late due to traffic. We were seated immediately upon arrival outside on patio.
The waiter was very friendly, but a bit too chatty. He did however move an additional umbrella to shade us because one of our group was directly in the sun. It was very hot even though they did have some fans going.
We ordered a nice cool bottle of Chardonnay to help cool us down. Due to the heat the waiter kept the bottle off the table and on ice near the door and wait station. Unfortunately the waiter seemed to be managing quite a few tables and that made our service slow. A few little service errors happened such as we asked for more bread - never got it, we all ordered the Prix Fix menu and each time they brought out the dishes they put it in front of the wrong person. All 3 courses. Just a tad frustrating. Then we had to wait to get an additional pour of wine as it wasn’t on table.
I have visited Bliss many times and seem to always get the fried oyster biscuits for an appetizer and the scallops for dinner, which are scrumptious. I would love to see a grilled shrimp dish added at some point. In all, Bliss’s food quality is still spectacular however the service was a little lacking this go around.
Excellent service. Food was delicious with beautiful presentation. Would definitely recommend!
Bliss never disappoints.
Food was excellent as was the service staff
This was such an excellent spot for an evening with colleagues. Some of our favorites were the charcuterie, the duck/foie gras, and the butter cake. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy elevated cuisine.
Food was very good. Things went downhill after we finished our main meal and had to wait 20 mins plus for dessert. It seemed like our server disappeared..turns out our desert was enjoyed on a different table. Server and manager apologized and offered an extra dessert. Then server bought my tab and It was 1/4 of what it should’ve been! I didn’t think they would be comping anything during these times so upon closer inspection I realized it was somebody else’s tab.
Again, food and server was very good. We WILL go back.
Bliss lives up to its name. Wonderfully planned and prepared food, excellent and unobtrusive service. I have eaten here several times and it is currently my favorite restaurant in San Antonio.
The food was amazing! I tasted dishes I have never experienced before. Our server suggested entrees that fit exactly what we were in the mood for.
We visited Bliss for the first time in a very long time. The menu provided many choices which made it hard to decide on any one thing. We wanted to order the appetizers first to give us time to decide on the entree but it was "highly recommended" that we order everything at once. I felt a little rushed. I ordered the lamb and my husband had the duck. Both were very good choices and I highly recommend both dishes.
Every plate was delicious! The bone marrow beef tartar was a highlight. I had the quail and my husband had the beef tenderloin, it was all cooked to perfection.
Wonderful food & service. Our waiter, Russel was great.
This is an absolute gem which cannot be missed on any level! The food is off the charts, the service is top notch, and we will come back any day of the week to eat here! What an incredible overall place!
A well managed, serviced and professional restaurant with varied menu. We'll return.
Chocolate cake dessert was garnished with popcorn which was totally unnecessary
My sister and I were in town for Doctors appointments. We wanted something more. And we were not disappointed! The porkbelly was delish the bone marrow was Devine. The duck melts in your mouth , the lamb is the best I’ve had in YEARS! Fine dining at its best.
Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Bliss. The food was fabulous (get the scallops!) and the service was friendly and helpful. We'll be back soon.
Patrick was engaging and amazing. He made my wife’s bday dinner even more special.
Lico was an amazing waiter with excellent customer service !
The Beef Tenderloin was amazing. Very nice place for dinner. A bit pricey. Has its own parking lot. Would recommend as a place to try
Just an outstanding dining experience. The helpful and friendly staff were wonderful. The ambiance was perfect. And the food was just incredible! Thank you!
Our favorite restaurant in town. Food was excellent as always. The only problem was that I put a note in the open table reservation and it wasn’t read. My guest and I are hearing challenged and I asked for a quiet spot but we ended up in the large loud room. So the experience could have been better
Great service and food.
It was simply wonderful
Bliss is San Antonio's very finest restaurant.
The quality and the presentation of the food is the best
Food was good and interesting but I don’t think it was worth the price. Service was good as well. The chocolate dessert was bland. Wonton soup was too salty. I feel like the quality of the food was something you could make at home yourself and nothing special. We ordered the steak and the salmon. Probably will not come back.
We enjoyed a fabulous meal with friends at Bliss. We chose items from the prix fixe menu and shared them. I enjoyed the win ton soup to start, along with Fried oyster sliders. The charred octopus was amazing, the Branzino and short ribs delicious, and finished off the meal sharing butter cake, flourless chocolate cake, and goat cheesecake. Patrick did a fantastic job taking care of us. We had such a special meal, food like this hard to find. Thank you Bliss and chef for sharing your talents with us!!
The noise level is bothersome for my guests with hearing loss.
This is our favorite place to dine. Food and service is outstanding. Wine list is excellent. No other restaurant like this in town. A relaxed atmosphere with unbelievable food.
