Parmesan Crusted Filet
7oz. filet served with chef's seasonal vegetable & potato
The brunch was amazing! Our waiter was friendly, attentive and kind. We love Bleuroot! Thank you!!
Our waitress was courteous & friendly. The food was a little slow in coming ... but well worth the wait!!!!! The salmon & sole was delicious!
We have enjoyed this restaurant on many occasions. Hang in there through the restaurant ban and we will see you on the other side.
The restaurant is very cute, if you get seated in the front potion. The back room does not have the same feeling, and unfortunately this is where we were seated. Our server was great, very attentive and nice. The food was pretty disappointing though...and for that reason we will not be back. All of our food was cold and the majority of our meals were burnt...and cold.
Love this place! Always great service and great food. We have been here a handful of times now and have not been disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Great food and service - was a quiet night during the week so not sure what the weekends are like for noise. The old fashions were delicious but over priced. The salmon had a delicious flavor to it. Also did the charcuterie board and the ribs with ravioli - all delicious.
Will go again
I have been here before in the evening. I love that it by the river and that it is mostly local food. However, Sunday brunch was a different story. Our server was very slow. It took him over an hour to bring our food. I am a vegetarian and I asked him before I ordered if my meal was meat-free. He looked at the menu and said it was. When he brought it, it had crab in it- a change in the menu that was not printed. By the time i got my toast with poached eggs, my friends were all done eating. I am disappointed at the speed of the service and the clarity of the menu. I will try again before I give up. I am hoping for a better experience.
Always a pleasant experience. We keep coming back and bringing new people with us. Little pricey- be prepared.
A group came to table next to us half way through our meal and one of the men was obnoxiously loud. Server was slow but we were not in a hurry. Pork chop tasted great but was over cooked. Will give it another try.
Outstanding and personal meal! Just a casual dinner with my wife, but the owner Peter greeted us at our table, spoke a bit about the restaurant and made us feel very welcome. Great drinks and the food is really flavorful. Room is comfortable, there was a guitar duet playing while we ate - nice Friday night!
Great Friday Night dinner. We had a reservation for Friday at 7:00PM. The place was packed so I would reccomend having a reservation ahead of time. Everything took just a couple minutes longer because the restaurant was so full but it wasn't a super long wait. The food was delicious and our waiter Adam was excelent and very knowledgeable of the menu. Towards the end of the meal the chef came out and greeted us which was a nice touch. Overall great date night and will definitely come back (this was our 3rd time already)
We had a reservation and still waited 30 minutes after being told 5-10 minutes by the hostess. The service was poor, the server didn’t get water for the table as requested, my ribeye was burnt and we still spent $200+.
I took my family there for the first time and don’t think we’ll be going back again.
Great atmosphere and decor. Easy reservations. Chefs were friendly and welcoming. The biggest fownfall was the service, mostly due to the short staff. Food and drinks took time to get to the table and only one waiter was taking orders for the entire main floor on a busy Friday evening. Other than that, would recommend
The restaurant was not very busy on the week night we dined there so the noise level could be be higher at other times given the open bar room style seating. The overall setting and our booth were comfortable. The server was very helpful with recommendations and appropriately attentive but allowed us plenty of time to graze on the multiple small plates we shared and dinner we split. The food was good but nothing I would consider exceptional, although it was tasty and presented well. We had a nice time.
My husband gets the spinach braised beef ravioli every time and it is always spectacular. Never fails!!! I ordered the gnocchi and it wasn’t very good. The drinks and service are always spectacular. I was disappointed in my food but will be back for the ravioli next time!
I would have liked to say quiet but there were two families in the dining room whose children were allowed to watch videos and play games on their tablets at FULL VOLUME....ruined the ambiance of this charming restaurant.
This place is a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in the area, so I would only go back for a special occasion.
Has potential. The food was good, the service was friendly but when needed hard to track down. We felt the food was pricey, but the restaurant ambiance was pretty good.
Cold food. Also taste was less than average. Not planning to go back. Value for money out of balances.
Very nice, quiet evening in the closed off 2nd floor dining room. Dinners were both excellent and server was very attentive and kind.
Where should I start? It’s the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. We were served water in Miller lite plastic cups. The appetizers took 45 minutes and were cold when we got them. The waitress was a young girl who had a bad attitude and didn’t really care about service. The main course came out cold too. At that point we were pretty disappointed and asked to talk to the manager who was the owner and a chef at the restaurant. He was nice enough to remake our food but then the filet was rare when we had asked for medium. In spite of all this goof up there were no discounts given when we got the bill. Terrible place. Will never go again
Had a very nice valentines evening dinner with my date, food was excellent & the service was always checking to see if everything was good. Will go back again for special dates in the future .
Perfect place for a date night! Farm to table atmosphere is great! Chef always makes a personal appearance! Live music is great
I had Beef Wellington and winter greens, the best I have ever eaten. I live how the 2 chefs walk the room talking to customers. It is a warm and welcoming vibe!
The food was so incredibly fresh and tasty we kept saying this is definitely a place we will come back to. The pasta fagoli soup was tasty and brothy just how I like it. The salmon was super flavorful as well as the spinach ravioli with braised beef. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!
Another wonderful experience at Bleuroot! The food is always delicious and the hospitality is incredible. It turns out the chef, we’ve always been a huge fan of here, is the owner 🤗 Makes sense as to why their establishment is warming, welcoming and delicious. An absolute fave of ours!
The restaurant has a cool vibe and is quiet. Bar area is nice and bartender very friendly. Hostess seemed new and was not friendly and welcoming. Accommodations for a large group was great with plenty of room - not crowded. The food was good, nothing great. Vegetables were fresh. Steaks were fatty, beef tenderloin sandwich had thin slice of meat. Menu was o.k. Although difficult to service a large group, the waiter gave the impression that we were an inconvenience and that he didn't want to be there. Overall, this restaurant has potential but really needs to work on improving service and hiring energetic, friendly servers.
For the price the portions were tiny . Food cold, service mediocre . Manager didn’t seem to take our feedback well nor made any concessions .
Great service! Great food!
We love goi g to BleuRoot! Everyone enjoyed their food and the desserts were amazing! Not sure how we had room!!
Excellent service and food. Difficult to have a conversation and hear well due to the noise.
We had a wonderful meal and Niko was very friendly. The salmon was delicious and the spinach ravioli with “short rib” ragu was amazing. It looked and tasted more like pot roast than a traditional short rib but it was fantastic nonetheless. Would definitely order it again. My father in law ordered the Mac and cheese, which was tasty (white cheddar cheese and smoky goodness) but there wasn’t much bacon in it, so he was a little disappointed. Craft cocktails are always great at Bleu Root with upscale spirits that you don’t find on every bar shelf. I tried a Nolets dry gin martini and the botanicals were abundant but not overpowering. The restaurant wasn’t very crowded for a Wednesday night so our dinner was quiet and relaxing, even with a large group seated next to us.
Outstanding service by our server Kevin. Kitchen overcooked steak, but Kevin handled the inconvenience well. Other meals were outstanding & served with perfection. We will return!
Bleuroot was good, but not great. Nothing in particular stood out - decor, service, food - were all kind of average.
Great selections. Always something new to try. Wonderful staff.
The food was amazing, as was the service. We enjoyed the live music and next will request to sit a little further from the music.
We went here for a birthday brunch. Food and service was excellent. I am looking forward to returning for dinner some evening. I would definitely recommend this place.
I loved the ambiance of this restaurant. I was so impressed with the drinks, the soup and the dessert. They were all delicious. I was disappointed with the entree, there really was not a lot of flavor to it. The service was also excellent. The choice of music playing did seem a bit odd for the venue.
