   Bleu Duck is quickly becoming our favorite place in Rochester. We’ve been there twice now, and the menu was entirely different both times. The variety of dishes and the spectacular quality of each dish will keep us coming back. Cocktails and mocktails are great, and each member of the staff has been friendly and quick with their service. Highly recommend!

   Oysters, as usual, are fabulous. Varied in taste, fresh, delicious! The pork belly was outstanding. One of the best meals we’ve had in town. Also, you should try the strawberry layered cake, easy for two. Also fabulous.

   Another delicious meal at Bleu Duck! The Quail was delicious and the Monkfish was amazing! Of course we couldn’t leave without having the Strawberry Crepe Cake for dessert. This restaurant is a favorite and the service is top notch!!

   We love Bleu Duck and eat there every time we are in town for Mayo appointments. Our food was terrific as usual, and we were very comfortable in a table by the windows. Our server was not as attentive as usual, but the restaurant very busy. Our only problem was a table behind us which seemed to be celebrating the birthday of a grown woman, who kept ringing a bicycle bell that she had received as a birthday gift. We will keep eating at Bleu Dick but will hope to avoid her birthdays in the future.

    We eat here every time we are in town for Mayo appointments. The food and service are always great. Our server Kelsey was wonderful! The only drawback was that the restaurant was loud and crowded when we arrived, probably due to the fact we ate later than usual due to having driven all day to get to Rochester.

    My husband and I absolutely love Bleu Duck. We love our food everytime we go. We always start with oysters (which they always have a good selection and are helpful in picking them out, too) and we often participate in their date night deal on Tuesday’s. The staff is very helpful and friendly and always willing to answer questions and make sure you’re happy. We love love love coming here.

    We had a reservation for dinner but got placed in the bar. The bartender was our waitress. We had to wait to be waited on until she finished her conversation about the upcoming rock concert to get waited on.

    Best fish dish I have ever eaten. Monk fish was perfectly seasoned and prepared. Oyster selection is amazing for any restaurant much less one in Minnesota. Bar selection is unique and superior to most restaurants with a real care to the craft. Best experience in Rochester or anywhere since before Covid. Wonderful place can’t wait to be back.

    Best old fashioned I’ve ever had. Quail risotto was amazing. Service was top notch. The only negative I had was it was a little loud to have good conversation (small space, loud crowd, plus music). Can’t wait to go again!

    The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. We had the mussels for an appetizer and the broth was amazing. It had a Thai curry flavor and a generous portion. I had the seafood stew which had masterly prepared shrimp, fish, and mussels. The broth had just the right amount of spice. The steak entree was cooked medium rare and very juicy. The ambience was upscale and very smooth. Will definitely be back to taste more from the unique menu.

    Tonight’s visit was absolutely amazing! I had noted on my reservation that it was our anniversary and every staff member we came in contact with congratulated us on this milestone. They had many specials tonight that were a great value, and they definitely did not disappoint! We had the muscles for appetizer and they were cooked perfectly and the broth was delicious. We then moved on to the beet salad with apples and pecans and honey vinaigrette with blue cheese. The flavors were well complemented by each other. We had the Ramen and steak, which were also cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Our server Ben was on point for every course. Our meal was perfectly timed and he was unobtrusive while caring for every need. We had the strawberry crêpe cake for dessert, which we keep coming back for. The managers presence on the floor was noticed and she was very helpful to her staff. We come here every year for our anniversary and a few times throughout the year if we can get a date night and we are always blown away by the impeccable service, delicious food, and fun atmosphere!

    February 15, date night menu. Great Deal. Included a bottle of wine, two mains and a dessert. Service was excellent, ambiance very good and not too noisy for conversation. The Monkfish was great though the portion quite small. The Seafood Stew was very good but super spicy hot, #4 on the Thai scale. We both like very spicy food, but this was over the top HOT. Menu should have spice warning or server should inform customers. Otherwise, all was excellent!

    What we love about Bleu Duck (where we’ve eaten many times): a creative menu, with emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients; just the right number of choices, so you can go lighter or heavier with your meal. Cocktails are intriguing, and wine/other drink lists are well-considered. Prices are fair, and portions in each category (starters, seconds, mains, and desserts) are perfectly sized. Dishes are often switched up with different ingredients to keep it interesting and fun. Service is attentive, personal, and upbeat. Ambiance is lively and cool; a perfect blend of sophistication and casual chic, where you can dress up or down and fit right in. Our favorite place to dine in Rochester!

    Okay experience. Our drinks were great, took a while to get, but great. The appetizers were cold, they did get comped, but they were good tasting. I had the quail, it was awesome. Very busy restaurant, but very fun! Fun for a good random date night. Not the best for an intimate dinner.

    Excellent! Such a cool vibe, truly wonderful staff, creative and high quality food, a well curated wine list, and great cocktails. I have dietary restrictions for medical issues, and before I arrived, the front of the house and chef worked together to identify which dishes were my best bets. How amazing is that? Our bartender was welcoming and knowledgeable. We are only in town for a few days and we may change plans in order to return to try more dishes and new wines.

    We went to Bleu Duck for restaurant week 2023. The food and service were wonderful! We enjoyed a five course meal, starting with oysters, followed by a crawfish quest (incredible), albondigas soup (incredible), crispy ravioli with chorizo and barbacoa lamb shank, and then churro bread pudding. The crispy ravioli was good but the portion was very small compared to the lamb shank and a little overpriced for the quantity. Very trendy restaurant! We will definitely be back.

    Came for restaurant week. Overall we enjoyed the pre fixe the soup was definitely a highlight of the meal. There was like a 30-40 minute wait between the soup course and entree which was understandable given the business of the restaurant. That being said it would have been nice to have our waiter check in with us about the delay instead of waiting in the dark. Also they had labeled Modelos as 3 dollars on the menu but charged us 7 dollars for it. A small item but nonetheless some consistency in the pricing would be nice. Also thought both of the main entree of lamb and duck were lacking a little in flavor and seasoning. Again overall the experience was nice and the food was good just felt it could be improved a little.

    We ordered several appetizers and all were outstanding However, my partner ordered Tofu, which clearly sat under heat lamps and was overcooked and dry The service recovery was okay and the meal was replaced. However for the money paid not to receive a credit or offered a dessert was beneath the standard of Bleu Duck.

    Food was very good. Service was good, but coffee went empty twice and plates didn't get removed. Love the ambiance and the music! Clay Fulton was great. Fun food selection
