   The service and food were excellent. Loved the french toast made with challah bread. And it was a good ambiance. Super quiet the weekday morning we dined there. The only reason I didn’t rate it higher was for the cost. (A cup of coffee was bottomless and good, but at $3.25???). Our 2 person bill before tip was $34 and change. I just think that’s a lot for breakfast with only coffee to drink. Highly recommend this place for a special breakfast

   My wife and I had our first BLD experience with the Valentine's prix fixe menu. The service was outstanding, as were both of our meals. The arancini appetizer and shrimp and lobster risotto were definitely the winners of the evening, but the pork belly was delicious as well!

   A group of us had brunch on a Sunday. Of course it was super busy, but luckily we had reservations. We were seated immediately. The wait staff were all very busy, so service was a little lacking, but the food made up for it. The biscuits and gravy were good, but different from the original version. The biscuit was light and fluffy, but the gravy was slightly spicy and had a red color...The chicken and waffles were amazing and we even ended up ordering a second one for the table! The overall experience was good and we will definitely go back.

   First let’s start with the service. Upon entering the host/waitress seemed a little it off - rude - but don’t let that deter you. I am a pretty good natured person and some smiles and a slight comment reference greeting folks turned things around. After that initial interaction things got much much better and service was much improved. The food was delicious- I unfortunately we did have to wait a very long time for it and the meat had to be sent back because it was overcooked the first time. By the time we got the right stuff we were not really that hungry and no discount was offered for the inconvenience. Me and the family May try it again if we are back in town. Everyone else’s food looked scrumptious so it deserves another try.

   If you desire AMAZING food, drinks, and a quaint atmosphere, eat here! My girlfriend and I always visit here often. Everyone is treated like family. The food definitely meet our expectations and is Michelin Star quality.

   Wonderful meal, server offered his honest opinion on dishes which was appreciated! Owner greeted us, very friendly. Didn’t feel rushed to leave. Will return!

    A wonderful combination of good eating, hearty drinks and cool ambience... at a “not your typical diner.” Will definitely be back for an encore.
