   First the positive – food was good, ambiance was fine, and entertainment was enjoyable. The negative: 1) After being seated and provided with menus it took over 30 minutes before the waitress came by. 2) After taking our order, the time to prepare our meal was excessive as we were told the chef didn’t prepare orders in sequence but prepared other meals before ours. 3) After being served dessert, I requested the bill. After 20 minutes I finally went searching for our waitress. My wife was able to flag down another waitress who provided the bill. 4) What should have been a 1.5-hour dinner turned into a 3-hour dinner due to the lack of attention by wait staff. They seemed to be focused on the bar patrons rather than the restaurant guests. 5) The final problem was the tip. Due to the poor service, I provided a 9% tip. In checking my credit card statement, I was quite surprised to see that the restaurant had run through a tip of 21%. Needless to say, we will never visit this restaurant again.

   This was a surprise! Great service and food. Thursday night unbeknown to us was 1/2 price burger night. They also had a violinist and guitarist playing, they were really good. This is not gourmet but for the price they get 5 stars!

   We made a 5:00 reservation on Tuesday, arrived at 5:00 and it was locked and dark Went by at 6:00 after eating a few doors away, still locked and dark, no sign on door. Turns out they are open Wednesday through Saturday only, had not changed website.

   Not a good experience from the start. Their menu on the website is no more and they are serving mostly hamburgers. At 6:30 pm they were out of iced tea. They brought one diner the wrong thing. Asked her if she wanted something else and then charged for both items.

   This restaurant has an unusual menu with perfectly prepared dishes that have a southern touch. The service was pleasant and attentive with outside dining. The musical duo totally enhances the experience with mellow music.

   We were seated on time (had changed reservation, moved it up 1/2 hr). Sat outside under tent. Acoustic guitarist was fantastic. Crab bisque and fried Brussel sprouts were great as was the grilled grouper sandwich and salmon blt. Service was very good too. Everything was great.

   Ambience and vibe is awesome. Something really different for Sarasota. Think it could attract a late night crowd. Downside is the menu is very limited. I think they need to expand the menu within the southern comfort food theme

   Absolutely enjoyed the live music and lively crowd and dancing. Delivery of simple food took over an hour (almost 1.5 hours). By then, had no time to eat before the music got going. They rarely came back to ask if we needed drinks...seemed they knew that delivery was slow.

    Jazz/Blues band was not so loud so as not to be able to speak at your table. Excellent drinks, and socially distanced and appropriate to eat in doors. Food was good, service was good, really no complaints. We have been here 2-3 times and each time was very similar, even pre-covid. kind of a nice little hideaway to have a drink, and get away from the tourists....
