   This restaurant is closed and we received no notifications from them or open table to let us know. Very poor service! We were left trying to find a last minute booking after having had this booked for 3 months!

   The place closed down and never let us know. Thank goodness I wanted to check out the menu again. Otherwise wouldn’t have known. Terrible

   DO NOT BOOK - this place is closed permanently, which we only found out on the evening we got to Fort William! OpenTable needs to remove from the site asap

   Food was good, particularly liked a very creative chowder and the rabbit was delicious. Service was charming. My only ding I’m afraid is that whilst the open kitchen is fascinating? You leave wreaking of cooking, anything you were wearing needs to be cleaned. Need to figure out some better extraction from that kitchen area. Otherwise....it was lovely to find this in Fort William, a cut above.

   The brassica salad was so so and the pork croquettes were very good. The beef wellington was sensational! The tarte Tatin was fab too but I was too full to enjoy it to it’s full wonder!! Thanks chefs. 😊👍
