disappointing. standard of food has plummeted. appear to have lost the plot. overcooked dry pork, bizarre brussel sprouts, truly awful carrot and beetroot ceviche… like a lame coleslaw and underwhelming chocolate dessert. used to be great food. not now

Sirloin steak was beautifully cooked. It came with green beans- split length ways. 6 green beans in total. They were not cooked well, were stringy and I suspect, came out of the freezer. Extremely disappointing for the price. We ordered a side of fries. Ordering another side is essential. I won’t be back, despite the great steak. I can get as good steaks with better vegetables in similar price brackets.

We sat outside, so it was beautifully quiet, we were rugged up. The food was supburb, the new chef Alejandro is excellent. The service is great; the drinks excellent.

From the moment of greeting to leaving it was a fantastic experience. The staff are attentive, kind, energetic and always looking after every aspect of your experience. Food was exceptional. Cooked to perfection. Flavours amazing! And the cocktails were delicious. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

A hit and miss experience at Blaq last night.. Tasty cocktails, excellent service, good wine selection. However the food was a let down. Minimal selection from the menu (around 6 mains options, 1 sold out), choice of only 2 sides dish options (sprouts and salad - sprouts were delicious, by the way.. salad was nothing to write home about). But no carb options as sides... I asked if I could get a serve of chips due to this, but that was declined due to selling out (our table was reserved at 6:30pm, so an early booking). I suggest a review on the menu.. possibly adding more to it for a start, so if meals run out before 6:30pm the guests have more selection. And please add a carb option for the sides.. I was looking for food when I arrived back home. Not what I was expecting after a meal out. Blaq is an awesome restaurant. I hope management are proud of their staff. The restaurant looks awesome too... Just a little improvement on the menu, please.

The menu even though small was excellent, the staff very friendly and efficient, but not intrusive. Definitely recommend this restraint for anybody in the area.
