It was my wife’s birthday. I selected “birthday” as the reason for booking through Opentable...I guess the restaurant doesn’t see that because there was no happy birthday dessert or complimentary item. We saw other table get a dessert, but didn’t feel the need to have to tell the waiter since we thought it was clear when we made the reservation

Great atmosphere, our waitress was super helpful and gave amazing customer service! Food was off the chain!

Small Birthday Dinner

This is a great restaurant, in a great location. The food I've had has been very good and the portions are perfect. Their margaritas are also very tasty.

This is a great new addition to some of the top Mexican restaurants in Houston. Have been twice and will return for more. The nicely designed interior using lots of stone tends to make it feel a bit noisy.

Can’t make it

Food portion vs price could be better especially for “posh” Tex mex. There is better for more authentic, flavorful and better portions for the price.

Me and my guests had a great time on Friday night. Our server was outstanding, professional, and friendly. The food and drinks were good! Highly recommend this place.

The food was really terrible, queso appetizer, just plain bad, crispy tacos, some weird bitter taste. Overall just awful. The server was lovely, great and attentive though.
Food here needs rehaul.

Brian, our server, made the night! He is prompt and pleasant and upbeat.
Wasn’t impressed with the hostess who offered a less than welcoming “can I help you” and no eye contact, despite the fact we stood patiently with no one else around.
Nice manager escorted us to the patio.
Notable on the food: the elote (street corn) is savory but a little watery. We asked for off the cob. That means someone actually cuts it off the cob at the restaurant (which I could have done, but it was offered). I think canned corn was used because the dish was overly watery. When canned corn is used, you lose the grilled corn taste too. So just ask for a sharp knife and DIY.
The tortilla soup was the opposite, it was more like stew (not enough water). Perhaps the corn chips were too big (versus strips)?
The fish tacos made the mark as my two friends finished those down.
Loved the pineapple jalapeño margi. The froze was tart and actually good (thanks for the sample) but it was too chilly outside to enjoy.

Service was horrible. Waited 15 mins before anyone greeted us with drinks or chips. First waitress seemed disinterested and rushed. During shift she apparently went home. Ankther waiter took over and the service picked up after that. Will give it ankthwr shot Bc the tacos and drinks were amazing, but service was poor overall

Cara was amazing!! She was so knowledable of the area and friendly! The cocktails were well crafted as well.

I definitely wouldn’t eat here again. The food took awhile to come out and once it did the black beans were way undercooked. For the price you pay, you should be getting your food cooked right.

I drank a whole carafe and not even a buzz. My group of four and I were not very impressed.

Great food and drinks! There was a little of a wait to get our food out but the staff made it right by treating us to some delicious white queso! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!

We came for my daughters 16th birthday. We had a reservation thank goodness because they were busy! We sat outside and our waitress was very sweet and helpful. We had chicken fajitas which were very good. I would come back for a cute date night.

The margaritas were yummy and the Pork Carnitas Tacos were outstanding! The queso was delicious as well as the salsa and chips. Our waitress was on point!
