We had a great dinner! The service was excellent even with the restaurant being very busy. The food was really good. We were seated right at our reservation time. Very excited to have this new restaurant in town. If there was a con, it was the parking. Because the area is still being built out, there is not enough parking and the parking garage, although walkable, it was a bit of a hike in 100+ temps. They do have valet but we opted to self park.

I arrived for my 5:00 reservation at 4:46 and was told to go wait in the bar. I waited in the lobby. I watched 2 walk- ins get seated before me???? My server was prompt and efficient. My frozen margarita was delicious! Chips- salty. Salsa- smoky. Dinner- not good. Gringo Mexican with salt being the only recognizable spice/ flavor. So much salt. The beans were covered in it. My chimi was soggy, the ground beef taco was greasy, the rice was dripping in butter. Not a good night out!

We love Blanco and have dined several times. The food was fantastic as always, but this is the first time our service fell short of what we’ve come to expect here. We were celebrating a special birthday and the only person to acknowledge my mom’s birthday was our hostess who seated us. She was very sweet and left behind the little notecard letting our server know that we were celebrating a birthday. Our server picked it up and never once acknowledged the birthday. We were offered more chips at one point for the table when we ran out and happily accepted. Then they never brought the extra chips. She never checked in to see if we wanted another drink. It became a rushed feeling. When she asked if we were interested in dessert, we weren’t sure and then she told us there is a gelato spot across the street and immediately set our bill on the table. I paid and she said have a good night. No mention ever of my mom’s birthday at all. Dinner started on a good note and she was pleasant at the start, but then we felt rushed out and dismissed by the end. We were an easy table, so I’m not sure if something else was going on that had her feeling frustrated. Ultimately, this is still one of our favorite restaurants and we will be back. But if you are trying to make someone in your party feel special, this may not be the spot for a special celebration.

We came for a couples night out with 6 in our party. The atmosphere is great, it’s a beautiful restaurant with an amazing patio. The service was SO SLOW on a Thursday night that wasn’t very busy. We ordered drinks when we sat down that took forever, and didn’t get asked for refills when they were empty. The appetizers and entrees didn’t take as long as the drinks, all were very good. It took a long time after we were done eating to get our bill and pay as well. Overall a pretty decent experience, but hoping service will be better if we visit again.

The waitress was very nice but her service was subpar. Very disorganized. I could name 10 things that did not go well. Frustrating. Get it together otherwise you will eventually lose business.

Our waitress was attentive, intuitive and patient with our group of 6 women. We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of our work reunion.

We had to wait for our table for 20. min cocktails took so long to arrive first we got the entrance and we had to ask for a second time for our 1 round of cocktails.

They always try to give us the worst table available! When we refuse to take that table, they give us a better table. When the appetizer came, the delivery waiter said here’s your appetizer and throw it on the table. No plates no nothing. We ask our waiter and he gave us plates and silverware. The main mail came again the delivery waiter just put the mail on the table no plates nothing. Again we had to ask for plate plates.

Food here is hit or miss. On this visit, the chips were so salty we barely ate any of them. Usually we’re asking for refills. The service was slow and inattentive, but that’s what we’ve come to expect with this restaurant. You need to ask for plates, water and refills by flagging down the waiter. There is a lot of waitstaff milling around talking and not paying attention to their tables. We were craving Mexican food and thought we’d give them another chance. Unlikely we’ll return
