Delicious food; especially the sushi. Try the surf and turf sushi roll! Incredible ! Great service too.
Fun and tasty cool vibe
Friendly service, tasty drinks, excellent meal. WE enjoyed Blade very much.
Food was excellent a little pricy but delicious
The customer service was amazing . I asked were the restrooms were and the manager had a person escort me . 2 different supervisors checked in to make sure everything was good . I was dining alone but had plenty of attention . Food was creative and very well prepared and presented . Great wine list and fantastic desserts . Very enjoyable visit and will be back .
Friendly, attentive and unpretentious service. Very good sushi with excellent special rolls as well as Japanese staples such as tempura and miso soup. Restaurant location is fun, at the end of the buzzing Fontainbleu "food hall" where there is great people watching. The restaurant itself is peaceful, dim and elegant.
Average food. Sterile atmosphere. Overpriced. Plain tasting sushi
Great service but very disappointing ambience
Not a authentic sushi restaurant they try too hard very expensive and food was “eh” food forchildren came from other hotel restaurant and very mediocre I would not recommend this restaurant
Excellent menu and food. The surf and turf was fantastic! Great service as well.
This was our first time at Blade and we were pleasantly surprised. Very intimate environment, even with another restaurant on the other side of the location. Friendly and attentive customer service and great quality sushi. We had the 5 sushi platter as an appetizer and it was delicious and incredibly fresh. Would definitely go back!
Chef was great, came out to introduce himself. We came for my birthday from Sarasota for the Omekase. The rice wasn't flavorful like sushi rice normally is. Quality of fish slightly above average, but definitely not the highest quality I would have expected for Omekase. Some of the selections tasted very fishy, and not in a pleasant way. Ambience does not lend itself to Japanese sushi experience. We had sake pairing and had to ask for more detailed explanation of what each one was. Also would have been nice to have been told which sake to pair with what fish. Server and staff friendly.
IT WAS BEYOND PERFECT! The greatest, freshest sushi I've ever had! Skirt steak was amazing! Loved it!!
Not busy when we dined. Slow service. Food was just ok and definitely way overpriced given the overall experience. Won't be back.
I've mentioned to the hostess that this was my absolute favorite sushi experience!
Girl's weekend!
Overall nice modern casual ambiance and even if restaurant was full it wasn't noisy. The Japanese menu was also very good and both my husband and I enjoyed it for our anniversary dinner.
Blade was great the hotel is so chessy. Awful crowd.
Great service!
Really great meal , great service , highly recommend
Amazing food great service definitely worth the price
Very good sushi. Short wine list. Value for money is ok, but expect no less than 150 for a couple with wine
Fresh and delicious sushi. A great mix of unique rolls and classic on the menu. Nice, modern atmosphere. A bit pricey, but not surprising being located in a Miami Beach resort.
Great service. We had sushi which was delicious but portions were a bit small for price., not unexpected for location.
Sushi and service were absolutely fabulous. Venue itself was very loud with poor acoustics - no real ambiance.
Our waitress was amazing!!
We had a confirmed Open Table reservation (email & profile to back it up), which they would not acknowledge - and were actually quite rude about. We used Open Table for other reservations at the hotel throughout the week and didn't have any issues - so was very disappointing.
I visited while traveling for a business. Reservations were easily made, upon arrival we only had to wait a few minutes for a party of 6. The setting was comfortable and food was tasty!
The sushi is delicious and fresh. They bring fresh fish into this hotel by boat daily, so you can never go wrong. This is one of the few spots in the Fontainebleau where you can order a sushi roll and salad, without overeating or breaking the bank. That said, I was disappointed to see that they convert the hotel breakfast room into the dining room for sushi at dinner time. It felt a bit fake (like a sushi lounge on a TV sitcom) and I couldn't lose the image of kids eating chocolate chip pancakes at my table just a few hours before. Bottom line, delicious sushi, capable service, little ambiance. As long as you know what to expect, you will enjoy your meal.
Service was excellent and fast. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu. Her smile was infectious. The food she recommended was right on point - delicious.
We had low expectations going in, but were pleasantly surprised by both the food and the service. The hamachi, which is perfectly paired with Asian pear and yes glaze, is phenomenal and a definite must try. The rolls, the sushi and the sashimi were all fresh and tasty. Our server from Morocco (who's name I have sadly forgotten) was lovely. She was very friendly and also very knowledgeable about the menu. She made some great recommendations for both cocktails and food. We will definitely eat here again.
Exquisite reasonably priced sushi! I always enjoy the dining experience at Blade when I visit South Beach.
We held a luncheon here during a conference, and was told that we were the highlight of the conference. The staff, environment, food and service were phenomenal.
This was my first time at Blade. I've been to all the other restaurants and fontainbleu but decided to try blade.
I had the quinoa salad as a main. Was very good.
Would definitely recommend this place.
The Fontainebleau has some serious dining choices---Blade, while still upscale, is less formal. The sushi is very good and a couple of selections were quite creative. But it's in the Vida space which gives it more of a dinette feel than the food deserves.
Good for a quick bite, but the noise level is very high (you can barely hear others at your table) and the ambiance is non-existent.
I came here for sushi after eating at Vida (same restaurant) a few days before. The sushi was very good but pretty pricey. Would return if staying in the hotel or nearby.
Restaurant with great atmosphere, good wait staff & great food. However, the menu pricing was way out of line for what you received. Extremely small portions with extremely high prices. Based on the prices & portion sizes would not visit the restaurant again!!
We found it expensive with poor ingredients. A crunchy roll with chopped tuna was a really cheap and bad dish. None of the sashimi tasted very fresh.
