Organised an impromptu dinner with friends based on some Facebook photos and the food and service more than lived up to our expectations. Pricey BUT it was definitely worth it ...more of a special occasion meal. Have to congratulate the service staff who were fast, warm and friendly. Finally we loved the share plate idea it worked well for us.

The food and drinks were well over priced for what you got. We ordered a green salad which contained three pieces of lettuce for $12. The bill came to roughly $130. We left disappointed and would not return back for dinner.

The food at Blackwood is always delicious fresh and different. Our group of 4 had only been here for breakfast before and whilst that food has always been really great, dinner was absolutely amazing. Right up there on my list of best eats in Sydney. The octopus was the best I have ever had, the eye filet melted in your mouth and the squid ink linguini was a taste sensation. The sides and extras were all delicious and we topped it off with a light and delicious three milks cake with salted caramel sauce. I can only say WOW to it all!!!!! Staff are attentive and courteous and understand the food and the menu. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful gastronomic experience. Well done Blackwood you have outdone yourselves.

I like Blackwood pantry but i was a little dissappointed with the dinner menu and the cocktails weren't very nice and over priced. A bit too expensive for dinner. Love breakfast and lunch there though and the chai tea is the best.
