Blackstones Steakhouse - Norwalk Ratings and Reviews
We had a gift certificate from OpenTable, so we decided to give Blackstones a try. The dinner was nice, but it has the feel of a very casual restaurant, and with the prices, sweatshirts and jeans should not be included in the dress code. Blackstones does not come close to Capital Grill, and the prices a similar. We will stick with Capital Grill.
Thank you, Blackstones for making our 27th wedding anniversary dinner an especially nice celebration. Have been here for many wonderful business luncheons but this was the first time we've been for dinner. Craving a great steak, we were not disappointed. The tableside carving/serving of our entrees was a nice touch; something of days gone by but not fake/goofy. And a special thank you to Blackstones for the lovely dessert surprise to mark our special occasion.
My husband and I ate at Blackstone's on a Saturday night. The food and service were great. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was very good. It was cooked perfectly with great flavor. My husband had the NY strip steak, medium rare, and it was also delicious.

A special meal; not to be forgotten 🌟✨
Everything from the wait staff to the food was outstanding. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. My date and I shared the crab cake which was enough to share and very tasty. She ordered the salmon and I had the filet. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. It was a bit pricey but well worth the trip.
An amazingly great steak house. The steaks and sides were of the highest quality. A very friendly staff whom found the perfect balance between being attentive while not being intrusive. I have eaten at all the best NYC steak houses and, frankly, I found Blackstones to be superior in every way.
Walk, run or get in your car right now and rush to Blackstones for a perfect meal!
P.S. I've eaten everywhere and I am rarely impressed but Blackstones was truly outstanding.
My only complaint is that it is VERY expensive!!! We eat out a lot all around the area and dine at the best places. But this place is just way to much money for what it is! So, even though we dine out 2-3 times per week, this place we'll only go to maybe once per year. It's too bad because the food is really good. I would recommend it to a friend but I would have to tell them that it's over priced and the ambiance is just okay.
Was in the mood for beef and had the best prime steak in very long time. Ordered a riib eye, bone in, that looked like it belonged to Fred Flintstone...mega huge! Cooked to perfection, ate it for 3 meals. Worth ths 45.00. excellent sides of garlic mash and creamed spinach, perfect glass of wine. Delectable and great service, will return as soon as can digest the last meal👍👍👍👍👍
The restaurant was a high end restaurant that you would expect complete quiet but there was a table of people having a wedding rehearsal dinner and that got quite loud. The lighting was set for romantic dinners and the wine was top shelf. The service was exceptional from the minute we walked in until we left. The cost was right on par with any other high end restaurants that we have been to.
Can't believe this scrumptious steak house is only minutes from my house!! Must have driven past 1000 times and never knew my steak and fish nirvana was so close by. Expensive!!!! But old school red velvet NY steak house in our own little neck of the woods! Definitely recommend! Not just for steaks btw, my halibut was perfectly prepared with a Delish side of spinach.
We were here for father's day and it was the perfect spot. My husband got the steak and wine he wanted and was very happy. The service was great. The wait staff was attentive, proactive and very personable. We all loved our meals, the wine, tiramisu and coffee. The Blackstone's chicken was very good, as was the sautéed broccoli rabe special. Mike ("O'Neill") aka Marook was very entertaining and made our night!
My friends and I looked for a restaurant for a get-together dinner, Blackstone came highly recommended. So, our group of 5 met for dinner, were seated promptly and courteously by the maitre d'. Our waiter Aldo was professional and knowledgeable and extremely attentive. Dinner was amazing, the steaks were generously sized and delicious. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone. I'm absolutely planning my next get-together at Norwalk's Blackstone Steakhouse!
We've been to Blackstone's for special occasions in the past and this time it was as delicious as ever. Calamari appetizer was fresh, tender and tasty. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Broccoli was perfectly steamed (not overdone) with lots of salt, garlic and butter (yum!) and fries were crispy. Portions are very generous. Service was very attentive and efficient. We will be back!
We had a group of 5 for a Mother's Day meal and were completely impressed on all levels. Unlike many places on a 'rush' holiday the staff was completely on their game and the food was excellent.
They have that old-school steak house charm and quality and the wine list would please the most discerning vinophile. The sides were very generous, steaks cooked to perfection and the desserts — particularly the cheese cake and Apple tart — were excellent.
