   We had a nice time in Black Corner although when we received the bill, for what we received I would say it is slightly overpriced. We got a Black Corner sharing board, some extra cheeses and meats and a flatbread. Topped off with a bottle of wine and selection of beers this place was lovely for a light bite, heading into the evening. I believe that Blacks Corner offers a more bespoke feel and there are not a lot of places out there that offer what this restaurant has. I think they also know this and have added a couple of extra pounds onto the total bill for this unique experience. The food was tasty, although you didn't receive a lot. We were sat as a group of 5 and (I may be a bit greedy) believe that I could have finished what we had by myself. I will go back as it is a lovely place, but it wont be for a while and I do have restaurants I would prefer to go to first.

   Having tried to visit Blacks Corner for weeks (note that it’s closed on Monday and Tuesdays!) and never managed due to various things, this was an eagerly awaited lunch date with friends. It certainly didn’t disappoint. The decor is beautiful and whilst small the restaurant has a lovely feel to it. The menu is different and whilst I think some less adventurous diners may be put off by this they shouldn’t be as there is something for everyone and the staff are helpful and happy to explain anything you may not be sure of. We all had flatbreads but with different toppings and they were scrumptious. We finished off with coffee and cake and sat chatting for ages without any pressure to leave our table. Staff are great, food is beautiful, restaurant is a delight and the ambiance is perfect. Well worth the wait. We’ll definitely be back!

   Absolutely love this place from breakfast to evening chilling with friends & family. Food is delicious & staff are so welcoming. On our doorstep too which is an added bonus

   Food was beautiful but It took 45 minutes to get our food and drinks, really enjoyed the place and the staff was friendly.

   Visited Blacks Corner several times not since its opening and I have to say it is fabulous! Customer service / Quality / Food / value for money is exceptional! 5 star ⭐️ cannot wait to come back.

   Lovely cosy deli style bar with nice decor and good menu. Relaxing with good wine selection.

   First visit for food having previously enjoyed a drink. Lovely waitress took the time to talk us through the menu. Will return!

   Not what we expected. £19 for a sharing board and to be fair the meat and cheese could have came from Lidl. The chutneys were tasty. Do not irder if your hungry. The service wasn’t great and the bill was wrong. The place itself is good, ideal if your meeting a friend for a glass of wine.
