Liam was great. He kept us engaged and had a great since of humor. He made me and my wife feel absolutely wonderful on our 7th wedding anniversary. I would recommend this experience to anyone who want to be adventurous in fine dining and with making for a special date. Loved it

Collin was our host and super entertaining! It's not something I would do every month, but if you've never experienced dining in the dark before, it's worth the price with a group of friends. The food had a few really great courses, but a few courses were pretty standard. If you said $100 for the food alone, it would not be worth it. But add the fact no one is allowed to bring a phone in, meaning your friends are 100% present, the great staff, and the fact you get to eat with no one judging you (use your hands, eat stuff you found on your table since you made mess trying to find your mouth, lick you plate lol), it's fun. Whenever a friend visits out of town, I'll definitely suggest this as a thing to do. A lot of fun in a big group!

I really can't rate the ambiance because I didn't see a thing! Service and food was great. It did get a bit noisy as people tend to talk louder when they can't see.

This was our first time doing a blackout dining experience and it exceeded our expectations by far! Cory did a great job explaining the experience and guiding us of where things were. The food was outstanding and it was so much fun trying to guess what we were eating throughout the lunch. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Will definitely go back next time in Vegas!

Really fun and unique experience. Our server Cory, hope I’m spelling correct, was great. Loved that we had a great vegan dinner. The only thing was that the entree was a little bit salty, otherwise everything was Aces.

Overall it was a great experience! Only complaints... And our server even mentioned it but for some reason it seemed like EVERYONE talked really loud in the place for no reason. It was one of the louder dining experiences I've had in a setting that had no background noise needed to be spoken over. The experience was great! Food was great! I won't lie... I wasn't expecting to be out $300+ for the 2 of us to dine but it is what it is... I think we underestimated the price of the drinks there forgetting it still is a Vegas Touristy deal so expect to pay even as locals. Whatever though, still was a blast and I'd definitely suggest it to others. Cause of the cost it may be a one time only deal for me cause that's pushing my dining budget quite a bit and makes me think of other places that may offer less of an experience but a higher scale strictly culinary wise that I could go to in Vegas at a similar price range. Thanks for a great evening though!!! Cool concept and cool joint for sure! OH!!!! The option of having the server tell us what each course was while either eating it or just after finishing it would've been neat cause as foodies we were having a great time trying to guess what each course was and we did great at guessing even in the end but the discussion would've been cooler if we'd known while it was fresh on our pallet still!

Way too noisy....could hardly have a conversation with my guest. Seems like everybody yells to compensate
for not seeing their partners. The food was OK and not hot...... The waiter was kinda corny with the blind jokes. It took 2 hours and honestly....was getting tired of the "experience".

Very unique experience -- a five-course meal in complete darkness. The server, or "dining guide," was very helpful. It was fun! The food was quite good, better than I expected. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, actually. We went for lunch; both meals are fixed-price but a bit on the costly side. Good for a group or couple.

After realizing we were going to be fine without our sight; it was really pleasant to have great conversations with my guest. 'Not so sure it would have bee as much fun with our sight being a distraction.

Didn't know what to expect but the experience was fantastic! Lots of laughs, the food was superb and our server Anthony was excellent. It was just the 2 of us but I can imagine that to do this in a group setting would be hilarious! Definitely recommend! 5 stars for sure!

Very fun! Server was great. Only issue was my wife stated that under no circumstances would she eat mushrooms and told the front desk, asked for a substitute meal if anything had mushrooms or alcohol (pregnant). Main course did have mushrooms and it made her sick afterwards (not an allergy, but always a physical reaction when accidentally consumed). That was the only exception asked for and we don't think it was unreasonable, she would have been fine with an additional appetizer course or dessert.

Eating in the dark is quite an experience. I was excited to try something new but my.husband was a little unsure. In the end it was great. The food was very good and sever, Rico, was awesome. This was our first time eating and walking in the dark so he explained everything. I can't judge ambiance because it was dark. It's a little pricey but worth it for the experience.

I’m amazed at how fun that was!!! When you can’t see each other everyone gets really silly and we were all laughing the whole time. I’m surprised that we all liked all the courses too, I expected it to be hit or miss, but it was all great! You don’t have to pace yourself through the seven courses. The portions and pacing are appropriate so you can enjoy each one

Only issue was that there’s a security camera with a green light so I couldn’t stop staring at that one green light the whole time. It was only from my chair that it was visable

Great fun 7 courses is more then enough. Small portions are right amount.

Honestly too expensive $230 for two people sitting in the dark.

Sitting next to the door and silverware bins sucks.

They need to manage the acoustics better knowing other senses are heightened. Carts rolling on the tile floor clicking clack never stops. Rummaging in silverware never stops.

When they lead larger groups thought the dark. Watch your head an toes. Guest drifting out of line will step on your toes and hit you in the face. It happened to us.

Over all ok night.

Christopher our attendant was engaging and descriptive. Being in a pitch black room with strangers should be frightening but the staff kept the conversations light-hearted and entertaining and were attentive.
The next day I went to dinner with the same person the experience was completely different and they were on their phone most of the dinner. With Blackout dining you have to use your other senses.
Smell (nearly all of the meals - smell drew you in)
Touch( plates- shape the texture) The food had different textures. I completely enjoyed the experience and can't wait to do it again.

Had a great time coming into Blackout not knowing anything about it. Our waiter Collin, who was reasonably new, did a FANTASTIC JOB. He was on point delivering our food and giving us subtle hints as to what we were eating. When they say it is DARK in there, they MEAN it is DARK..... Cool experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a great time! We'd heard a lot about the place in reviews and everyone seemed to love it. I have a wide palate as does my father in law, however my wife and her friend don't and they loved only a couple of things on the menu. My father in law and I loved each serving. We tried hard to guess some of the items and weren't very successful. My only concern was that although our server was friendly and did his job, his enthusiasm wasn't there at all. And we only noticed when we were able to hear the other servers having the time of their life with their tables. To note, we were 45 mins late because our Lyft driver took us on a ridiculous route and got us lost. The person who answered the phone was polite and very considerate and patient which I was grateful for. Maybe the server was upset at our tardiness but for a first time experience, his enthusiasm was seriously lacking. Other than that, he was professional and still guided us through the experience.

We went on NYE. Had no idea what to expect. Needless to say it was a blast. Our waiter, Willie, explained what was going to happen etc. I don’t want to give to much away but you should definitely try it. At first it was kind of noisy because of a large boisterous party but after they left it got a lot quieter.

My boyfriend and I went to Blackout-Dining in the Dark for our New Year’s Eve dinner and ABSOLUTELY loved it! I will admit, it was a little intimidating walking in at first, but our server Collin was wonderful and put my mind at ease. He guided us to our table (asking us to hold onto his shoulder) and explained where everything was placed at our table. His jokes were funny and he tended to our every need.
The food (although we had no clue what we were eating at the time) was DELICIOUS! Our wines (of which we payed extra for) was perfectly paired with our food. Being in complete darkness (which I thought was virtually impossible to be in) took our sight completely away from us, but heightened our other senses to the max. This was an AMAZING experience and I will definitely come again (as the menu changes every 6 months).

I really loved this experience. Something I’ve always wanted to try. The food was certainly good and filled me up. However, I felt that if the point of the experience is to really fully develop the sensations of tasting something without expectations, I would have preferred fewer courses and more haute cuisine. Don’t get me wrong, this was a great time and a very good meal, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. But I would have preferred more upscale food.

It was a unique experience, and our family had a blast. Z was terrific as a guide and waiter. You must sign a release from liability prior to eating. That was somewhat troublesome given the language. The check-in took awhile. Your personal items also must be placed in a locker. The food was good . We really liked the dining experience. Would have been more comfortable had we known about the check-in protocol.

We thought this would be something new and fun to experience in Las Vegas. The staff and waiter were very welcoming and showed us what to do prior, like putting away anything that may emit light such as phones or smartwatches. It was really pitched black and could not see much except for the party who had brought in their phones and was checking the time. There was a larger party seated behind us which were at least half way thru their course and were so loud and obnoxious that we couldn't even hear the conversation in our own group. We were so glad when they finished and left. We could finally start to hone in on our sense of hearing and conversations. The food overall was very average and nothing special. When I think about a 7 course meal and the price of it, I do expect more, but know that it's basically for the experience. As a group we were a little disappointed that they did not try to utilize more of enhancing our sense of smell and touch. It's definitely a unique experience but probably won't do it again unless better quality/unique foods and unless they utilize smell, touch, and texture more.
