Service was slow, food was tasty. I would go back. Good drink deals and decent prices overall!
The service was the best part of our experience. The food was very good and the portions were generous. We will be back again if we are in the neighborhood.
Love the 25 cent wings on Mondays - the hot honey is amazing and the buffalo and BBQ are great. Can’t beat these prices!
Great food. Host and servers are a little disorganized/spread thin, but overall a better alternative to North End/Downtown options when there is an event at the Garden.
I love blackmoor. Been here four times now and its always awesome.
Burgers are dope, cooked perfectly and they use la frieda beef which is standard must for a good burger for sure. Nachos are a must. Grab the side of jalapeno mac and cheese. The pretzel is great too.... Did i mention they pickle their own jalapeno and chili peppers which are so damn good.
Beer selelction is fantadtic and the 1 litres are so key. The ambience is big but cozy and decor is everything that a great place should have. Two thumbs ☝
The lamb burger was delicious!
Drinks were good, when they finally arrived. Service was beyond slow and waiter was very annoyed that he had a job to do. Margarita was good but watered down because it had sat on the bar top for 20 min before getting to me. And I had to ask more than once to to get it. Not sure I’ll go back....
Best value we have come across in boston
Convenient location on water and near TD garden. Plenty of food choices and very tasty.
Quick, attentive service! Delicious food
We all got different entres. They were all scrumptious!
Flat bread pizza, roast chicken, ribs, fajita bowl!!
All delicious!! We have gone many times and we will go many more!
Our waitress was excellent!
Was disappointed by the food and service. I made a reservation for 1 and my server asked if someone was joining after the host sat me to which I said no and he replied "oh that's sad". It also took 15 minutes from the time I was done eating to get my servers attention to bring the check. The table next to me also sat for about 10 minutes before even being greeted. Food sounded a lot better than it tasted. I ordered the poutine and the fries weren't crispy as if it sat under a heat lamp before being brought out. Just disappointed all around.
Unfortunately we went before the Bruins game #7 of Stanley Cup playoffs- everybody wanted to be served at the same time and go to the game. Manager helped our server as he was slammed, appreciated her help. Food was very good and beer selection is also. I thought an hour and a half was enough time for a casual dinner but we had to hustle out to get to game. Not their fault. Given the circumstances they did OK. Still my favorite spot before Bruins games- maybe not game 7. Constitution Wharf parking lot was full at 6:15...
Decent food and good bar. Service gets a little spotty when they are crowded.
A good spot for pre-event eating and drinking. Friendly atmosphere and the food is a good value; my one complaint would be the fries need to come out of the kitchen hot and not warm.
Great time. Good food. Good overall experience.
Great place to grab a bite before the game!
Amazing food, huge portions, different take on bar grub standards (lamb burger, artichoke wontons).
Every time I come to Charlestown I hit Blackmoor. The service is always attentive and good. Food is good and comes quickly. Rangoon’s and Eggroles are great shareable apps.
Always have an interesting beer menu. Mayflower Cssk ESB was exceptional.
It is always energetic for sure. It is not a romantic spot or for quiet conversation. That’s fine. The crowd is upscale overall.
The food was delicious. The spinach and artichoke rangoons melted in your mouth. The pretzel was good but make sure you eat it while it's hot so it doesn't get hard. The flavors in the fish tacos were amazing. This was a find thanks to a Nift gift even though I bike by every time I cycle to work and we will definitely go back to enjoy more dishes off of the menu.
Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, food was mostly good but a little hit or miss. The ribs were fantastic, though the side of mac and cheese left a little to be desired.
First time dining at Blackmoor and it was a very positive experience, we will go back. The food was very good, notable was the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and garlic spinach! Very moist and tender chicken and the bowls are good as well, albeit a bit on the dry side, perhaps a extra sauce could be offered on the side. The drinks were also quite good, the hibiscus margarita was delicious and not too sweet. Service was pleasant and efficient. Will go back for more!
The staff were friendly and professional and Sean, our waiter, was excellent.
The food was delicious and the drinks were good. It wasn't busy crowded so it was a nice dinner.
Food was good, we both had the St. Patrick's day specials and they were great.
Good place for a bite before an event at the garden!
Service wasn’t great. Wine glass amounts were rather on the small size while prices were still high.
Mediocre food - weak drinks - poor service.
My date was phenomenal- this place was a huge disappointment.
Blackmoor was great! I went with a friend and we ordered the full rack of ribs to share. While they were not the most amazing ribs we've ever eaten, they were still very delicious, and it is definitely a large portion size - we should have come hungry! The TVs took a little bit away from the modern feel of the restaurant but the volume was not on (at least, we couldn't hear it), so it wasn't too distracting. Our server came to check in on us every so often. The ambiance was lovely, however we were seated next to their fireplace so that was definitely an added bonus. Overall, I will definitely be returning!
Great service and very kid freindly
Great with our kids.
Perfect spot for a small group get together or before a game at TD Garden. Food and service was great however felt slightly overpriced.
Showed up, waited 15 minutes to be seated, debated leaving with my party, we were sat, told if would be a little slow once our order was put in. 25 minutes later we got an Uber and left. Atrocious service, they weren’t even busy.
Simply the best restaurant in Charlestown! Their fish’n’chips is better than in many eateries in the UK. Very pleasant and cozy atmosphere inside.
Great food, great service! Thought there would be more beers on draft than there would, but they had about 20 and the rest were bottles/cans. Still great selection, regardless (though not as many locals as you’d expect). Bar had a lot of choices (including local spirits).
Overall, would definitely go back.
Great meal and service!
Went out with a friend for a New Year’s Eve pre-game. Nice quiet place on what should be a busy night, but it’s situated near the edge of the City so it’s understandable that it would be quiet on such a rainy and cold night. Still the food and service is excellent. Would recommend 💯
Excellent food and service! We were staying in a nearby hotel and this is the perfect stop before heading to TD garden for an event.
17 of us. So we understood the crowd but appreciated how hard they tired
We went before a Bruins game. The service was outstanding...not rushed and made it to the game on time. The burgers are amazing and I rarely order red meat!
