Blackfish is a tiny seafood restaurant near Boston that is a favorite of the locals. This particular eatery is unique in that it stays open for most of the off-season, a rarity in this particularly tourist-heavy area. The building in which Blackfish is housed used to be a blacksmith, and retains a lot of the original architecture and pieces of equipment as interesting decor. The menu is decidedly seafood-centric with items like the tuna bolognese over fresh pappardelle and finished with mascarpone cheese and lemon confit. That's not to say it is entirely seafood though, other house favorites include the grilled Berkshire pork porterhouse with cheddar grits and braised collard greens. Blackfish also has an extensive wine menu, as well as several craft cocktails created specially to go with the best dishes on the menu.
