Amazing food and service!
Just a fabulous meal! The ravioli appetizer was delicious. My salmon was cooked to perfection and my husbands blackfish was great
Bad ordering experience and service.
My husband and I went for the first time this past Friday night. We reserved a sidewalk table outside. Propane heater worked well to keep us warm on a windy Spring evening in the high 50s. We ordered the five course tasting menu which was delicious. Since Blackfish is BYOB (which we love), my husband and I brought a bottle of white and a bottle of red which gave us options to pair to the tasting menu. Portions were perfectly sized. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back.
Absolutely amazing. Great service, delicious food, being restaurant. Will be back!
My meal was very good. My wife's steak was very tough.
Would not return
Always dependable for good food and service. New menu since last time there. Preferred prior menu.
The Lobster Tasting Dinner did not disappoint and was all that we expected and more! Each of the four courses varied from each other. The lobster risotto was my favorite. The biscuit served with the strawberry shortcake was not up to Blackfish standards...very dry...but, the whipped cream was soft and heavenly. The strawberries were lush and sweet. Service is attentive without being intrusive. It's nice to return and be remembered!
We love the chefs tasting menu. It never disappoints
Another great meal! Always interesting cooking, and good service.
Food was delicious and inventive, as always. Staff are friendly and attentive. Felt safe eating indoors as tables are appropriately separated.
Blackfish is consistently excellent. It is our go-to place for dining - for special occasions and every other occasion when we want a great meal.
This is one of my very favorite restaurants and we travel widely (in normal times). This visit the wow factor was just not as present. Perhaps it is COVID but the entrees were lacking the gorgeous flavors we come for and which makes these prices worthwhile. We will go again to see if we returns! Wonderful service, lovely simple elegant ambience,
So good to be back and enjoy an evening at a favorite and treasure of a restaurant! We ate inside and seating was at 50%. The front room was set beautifully. Service was most attentive but, not invasive. Each of us ordered a different first course and I got my favorite smoked salmon w/crispy potato and friend egg. My husband ordered the oysters and the other guests had the ravioli and the shaved brussel sprout salad w/blue cheese. The main course ranged from the flounder to the monkfish. I loved the monkfish and would order it again and...again. The table shared the beignets and everyone had one form of caffeine or another. All in all, can't wait to return!
We had not been to Blackfish for 5 years. We looked forward to returning. Again very impressive. The 5 course tasting menu was perfect. Veronica our waitress was wonderful.
We look forward to returning ASAP even though we live 3 hours away.
Great food, great service, my girlfriend loved it.
Blackfish has consistently been outstanding. Their food is top notch. The menu is so creative and the staff is so warm and welcoming. It’s absolutely one of my favorite places in Conshohocken.
It had been 5+ years since we had visited Blackfish and it is as good as we remembered despite the pandemic restrictions. The tables were appropriately spaced and all staff were fully masked. The quality of the food was superb with subtle tastes for the most discerning palate. We appreciate that it remains BYOB and that the staff are engaging and efficient.
Our favorite restaurant around! The service is always spectacular. I have never had a bad meal. Everything is delicious, fresh and oh so tasty! While we dine here often most recently went and ordered an appetizer not thinking to remind them I am gluten free. When Karla (I think that’s her name) brought our appetizer she remembered I am gluten free from before and had the kitchen prepare another appetizer. Cannot say enough about this place!
Not great service but food good. A luttle overpriced
We have had really great experiences in the past. But this time it did not have the same feel. Understanding that dining in the midst of changing pandemic circumstances is challenging, we did not feel welcome and were disappointed with
Great meal with amazing service
Overall, dinner was good. Portions are very small, especially for the price.
I not interested in write a review, excellent restaurant like always
Food and service was excellent as always.
Way too salty! I have been here before and it was not like that. New folks in the kitchen?
Wonderful date night dinner. Excellent service and delicious food
Superbly prepared duck tasting menu. Sophisticated dishes with great mixtures of flavor. Beautifully plated. Blackfish outdid itself and the chef should be complimented. Service, as always excellent(Veronica). A true “10”!
Excellent food and even more Exceptional service. I will visit again soon.
Excellent meal in a lovely little restaurant.
Blackfish never disappoints. Conshohocken and the western suburbs of philadelphia are fortunate to have such a great restaurant nearby. A small bone to pick was just that we had asked for a special dessert presentation, as it was a birthday- this was listed both on opentable and called into the restaurant day of- and this was forgotten. It wasn’t very busy, so it was a bit disappointing. Besides that, great meal.
Always great food. Cant go wrong with whatever you order. Service is impeccable.
Bland menu on Valentines Day and way overpriced for what was ordered. Smoked salmon and soup were good, but scallops were boring an undercooked. The beef brisket was ordinary and I’ve had better a the dinner. Service however was very good and professional and they tried to compensate us for inconvenience, which we did appreciate. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.
Outstanding food and service, I had a lovely experience..
This was a wonderful little find that my husband and I really enjoyed. Food is delicious and service was great.
Love this restaurant. We’ve been coming for years. We had the crab tasting and every course was wonderful.
Always a treat to eat at Blackfish. I'm a regular diner and love this place.
Great food, staff was friendly and informative about the tasting menu!!
First time to Blackfish! Service was awesome and food was excellent. We had a menagerie of food including short rib stuffed ravioli, fresh fish tartare, crispy chicken, foie gras, blackfish and of course beignets and chocolate lava cake. It was very relaxing and enjoyable!
