Service was very slow but servers were nice! It was mostly the drinks took 20 minutes to get to us. The drinks and food were very tasty.
Had a reservation at 7:30, were seated no problem. Took over an hour for our food to come out and the restaurant was fairly quiet - not incredibly busy. The kitchen definitely needs to figure out a better system!
Awesome happy hour deals! Well made drinks and tasty apps.
I recommended Blackbird to a group of friends who have never been at your restaurant before. We all reviewed your menu online prior to our visit. When we arrived we were surprised and disappointed that the menu was different and several items we were excited about weren’t available. Server didn’t even acknowledge it, nor did he explain the reason for this discrepancy, nor did he apologize for the inconvenience. Food was good but not as memorable as in my past visits. The server was grumpy and short with us which made us feel unwelcomed. Anytime we asked him a question, he gave us attitude as if we were bothering him. We asked simple questions like “what’s your most popular dish?, What’s your soup today?, How much is a mimosa?”. We are generally positive and easy going people so we didn’t let the server’s attitude affect us too much but given that we all used to work in f&b at some point in our lives, we knew that this was not an acceptable standard of service and should be brought to management’s attention.
My wife and I had the margarita pizza and hot wings which were very tasteful also the honey chicken and biscuits also very good.
Our were server was pretty busy but she made sure we were doing ok which was very nice. Sorry I forgot your name but thank you!!
Thank god for good food and drink because the service sucked. From the minute we walked in the host took 3 mins to greet my friend and me even when he was in front of us. The server took forever to greet us, took forever to get our drink and food order and hardly checked in on us. The only time he was aggressive to check on us was when he was hoping we would get another drink.
There was a bit of delay on our pizza but other than that, everything was great! The max n cheese was exceptional! The mussels and fries were delish! And the fig pizza was worth the wait!
Birthday brunch, it was low key and perfect for us. They provided a brownie dessert for our daughters birthday.
Great service, good food, well done handling the restrictions for COVID. Enjoyed it very much.
There was one waiter who seemed to be doing everyone’s job, and kept up with everyone which was great. But could tell the staff was stretched thin the restaurant wasn’t really following what Covid 19 protocols should mandate and I felt less safe there than at most restaurants I’ve been to.
The bottomless Mimosas are delicious with a lot of options for the juice; also recommend the breakfast pizza. Quick service as well!
Blackbird has good food and will literally put a sign on your table welcoming you when you make a reservation. Makes you feel really welcome! Think the layout of the restaruant makes it hard for the staff provide the level of service this neighborhood expects, which can be hard on the servers, who are all very nice.
Excellent pizza. Beware of the brownies. They were terrible.
Restaurant wasn’t busy. Appetizer came out after everything else. Food was mediocre for the price. Kinda bummed because it’s walking distance to my house and I probably won’t go back.
Food wasn't bad, and they have some solid happy hour specials. Service was great.
We went on Labor Day and sat for over 2 hours with service being lacking. However, they handled all of our food and took it off the bill leaving us only to pay for happy hour beverages. We totally understand they were not expecting a rush and it was our servers first day on the job. She did an awesome job trying to keep everything running smoothly and keep us happy and in the end they were more than accommodating. It is one of our favorite spots for eat in and take out and we will be back again.
We went to this place just for a plate we saw in the website but they didn’t have it, didn’t have the second option and finally the dinner was just ok. The service was good.
Food was amazing, service was wonderful (Haley is awesome) Can't believe we never tried this place before!
Their all day happy hour on Monday is a great value!
Meh. Nothing exciting.
Our meals were deliciously prepared and quite generous. Our waitress was gracious and prompt. She checked on us frequently despite the fact that she ended up in the weeds towards our departure. This is our second time here for brunch and may be our favorite.
Great happy hour drinks and food. Staff was super friendly.
Wonderful from beginning to end. Forget waiting in line at Denver Biscuit Company- come here instead. They make their own delicious biscuits fresh daily!!
Great food and service
Great job with COVID precautions. Food was really good, nice beer selection.
Enjoyed dinner and servers were very pleasant. Would go back again.
What a lovely time! Brunch was so great and $12 bottomless mimosas 😍. Can’t wait to go back!
We’ve been to this place a couple of times now. It has been great each time. The waitstaff has been super friendly but the service in general has been slow. Not an issue if you aren’t in a hurry but something that could improve. We will be back regardless.
Good food, very pleasant service. Table spaced for good social distance.
Really liked the ambiance and decor, just a cool vibe for a Saturday brunch! My boyfriend had a burger, and he thought it was really good. Instead of fries, he had the Brussels spouts, which were AMAZING! Got to meet the GM, Lauren, who really made our visit fun, and took great care of us, as did the bartender, Hayley. I wouldn't recommend the Chiliquiles, just because they aren't traditional, and are served on chips instead of a tortilla, and for some reason, mine was served without avocado. That's on me, I should've chosen something else! At any rate, I'd go back for sure, thanks to the great service and cool vibe, and try a different entree'!
Service with a smile (behind a mask) and excellent food add up to a great experience. Highly recommended
A group of 3 of us attended Blackbird for brunch this weekend. It wasn't extremely busy (especially because of capacity restrictions right now), but took over an hour to get our food - which was 2 breakfast burritos and a salad. Our waitress did seem a bit busy, however after we ate (which took maybe 15-20 mins), we waited for another 40 for our check. All in it was over two hours and we left feeling "meh".
Loved Blackbird for brunch! Delicious and varied menu, and great drink specials - their bottomless mimosas were the perfect ratio. The staff was awesome, super friendly and on top of their game.
Rueben was great!
Great Waiter, bit of a wait on food once ordered and app’s and main meal came to close together.
Poor service and atmosphere.
Masks half on - half off.
Meals came out one by one.
Took forever for our wing appetizer to come out. At least 35 minutes. Turns out they forgot
About them .food was good. A little
Noisy: kind staff.
Came in for Happy Hour because I’ve heard such good things. We ordered drinks and food - the drinks took 20 minutes to come out which was after our food. The drink specials were great (Sangria was delicious) but we didn’t get to order another in time before happy hour ended because the first round took so long. The brussel sprouts were amazing and the wings were good, but seemed dry and like they had been sitting in the window for a while. We ordered six oysters and it took 30 minutes to get them. They were room temp and after slugging down two, decided it wasn’t worth it and gave the others back. The dining room was empty so it was confusing why our experience was the way it was. I’m all for giving something a second try so hopefully next time will be better!
First time in, the kitchen was a bit slow... but the waiter was great. My dad and I both got a French Dip and we started with roasted beets. All very good. I wish I would have ordered a pizza. The pictures online didn’t look that good, but in person they looked great. Would definitely go back.
