Located on East 26th Street in Manhattan’s Flatiron and NoMad neighborhoods, BLACKBARN is a modern American restaurant overlooking Madison Square Park. Inspired by the warmth of a country barn and the energy of New York City, we serve seasonal, locally sourced, farm-to-table cuisine.                       Service for the outdoor part was very absent. I had to constantly needing to go get water and bottomless brunch doesn’t mean 1 drink per hour. Food is really great though.

                      Our family of 4 attended BLACKBARN'S Pride Brunch/Special Event and it exceeded our expectations. The food was top rate, and the house rose was lovely. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and tended to everyone's needs seamlessly. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend.

                      We had reserved for lunch in the Dining Room but when we arrived the hostess suggested we sit in the Tavern. Unfortunately, the Tavern only serves brunch - a different menu from the Dining Room. We ordered lunch al la carte but would have been better off with the lunch menu. It would have been helpful If the Hostess explained the differences so that we were informed . Otherwise the service was attentive and food quite good.

                      We celebrated our anniversary at Blackbarn, and the staff made our night very special, while acknowledging our milestone with a subtle gesture, hitting just the right note. From front of house to bartender to wait staff to runners, the service was excellent - attentive without being invasive. I started out a bit disappointed that it appeared from a menu note as though the two of us would not be able to order any items from the prix fixe "Family Style" menu, but I am so glad we were allowed to do so, because the Big-Eye Tuna Tartare by itself made the whole visit more than worth it!
