BLACKBARN Cafe & Bar - Chelsea Market
Staff was friendly and made great suggestions
We were a large group for Brunch and we stayed a long time and got no shade - super appreciate that
Could have been a little more on top of filling everyone’s water glasses but that is my one and only complaint
This is my second visit to Blackbarn Cafe. It is a wonderful space with outstanding food. The service is spot on, even when packed. Both times, every dish ordered, was raves about. The mushroom toast and butterscotch bread pudding are out of this world.
Such a perfect night out.
I was there for lunch with a small group. The food is wonderful especially the black bean soup. The service was ok. The noise level was quiet and there was lots of room in between the tables.
We had a big group for brunch and they were very accommodating.
I love the ambiance of Blackbarn, it's modern yet warm and all the decór you see in the restaurant is available in their home furnishing store right next door.
The food was was great! My friend and I shared the breakfast sliders and French toast and they were both awesome!
I would recommend Blackbarn Café if you're ever at Chelsea Market.
We had a great dining experience at BLACKBARN Cafe & Bar, the food was delicious, I highly recommend the Tuna Tartare as appetizer, I had the Chicken Milanese as my entree and it was perfectly cooked, the desserts were really good, the bread pudding and chocolate cake were melted in our mouths, the wine and cocktails were amazing, the servers and manager were very attentive, I highly recommend this restaurant. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars.
Awesome place for dinner with large group. Delicious menu that had options for all the dietary restrictions on our list, very friendly waitstaff, and plenty of space to sit - even with the mid-winter abundance of coats and accessories.
The server was good but service was lousy. Our server recommended a great red wine when the wine we wanted was unavailable. So we settled in & ordered 3 apps & an entree to split.
The food all came out at once & when I told the runner that we didn’t expect to be eating 3 apps & an entree at once she didn’t respond & walked away.
Great lunch, great atmosphere, right at Chelsea Market. The Apple and Brie sandwich was great. I’m looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu.
Meh. Overpriced. Food is nothing special.
Disappointing. Went at New year. Several options missing form menu. Staff appeared not to want to be there.
Birthday brunch with friends. Service was horrendous. They didn’t check ONCE after the food order was taken, they fofg
Tasty food and drinks, good servers, never felt rushed...lust what we were looking for.
The food and especially cocktails were very good !
Pleasant place to sit. But limited uninteresting menu. A squash ravioli was tasty but the chicken Milanese - the only non vegetarian option on the price fixe menu- was dry and rubbery. It’s large quantity only made it that less appealing. Quiet but not worth it.
This was my second visit. Seems like the lighting was a bit different/ brighter than before so less ambience.
Food was good but service was slow despite few other tables.
Dissapointed that the shop closed before the restaurant.
Will try again for Lunch and or cocktails.
Deserts were out of this world delicious.
Nice respite inside the busy Chelsea Market. Ambiance was relaxed, food very creative and interesting, service attentive and friendly .
Really liked this pace. Service and food were great and the ambience wss really nice.
This was my first time and all 6 of my party really enjoyed. The rustic modern and comfortable decor, great service and the food was really delicious
Jared, our server, was great. Good happy hour wine prices. Food was delicious. It was a beautiful combination of flavors and textures. I appreciate the entrees being offered in small and large portions. Decent vegetarian options.
Was very good, the kitchen is in the restaurant so it gets a little smoky and it bothered my eyes...besides that the food was amazing!
