Black Sheep Brasserie is located in the heart of downtown Willow Glen, featuring a mix of modern Californian and classic French inspired cuisine composed of seasonal ingredients. With an eclectic and restrained French varietal wine list, local and foreign craft beers, classic rooted cocktails, and an extensive and thoughtful spirits selection; Black Sheep has something for every taste. A collective effort brought together by the man behind Cascal in Mountain View and formerly of Le Mouton Noir, Birk’s, and Cin-Cin.     Food was okay. Main items very good…but accompaniments not great. Service was okay. For an upscale restaurant…it’s super surprising that you never figured out how to get the right food to the right customer, without asking everyone who ordered what. In case you are interested. They are called seat numbers. Really? Get it together Black Sheep.

    This was a special dinner for my wife’s birthday and everyone was perfect. The food was terrific and the dessert (comped to celebrate her) was incredible. Thanks for making this special.

    Always had a good experience every time I ate at the Black Sheep. Excellent food and service, and prices are fair. Definitely one of my favorites in San Jose.

    Lovely evening. Great food and excellent service. Wish we hadn’t thought it was a Stacks pancake house at first but sharing the space makes sense once I started thinking about it. Also wish there were more French wines offered. Would definitely recommend for Bistro food.

    Great server and staff. Drinks were good, very limited beer offering (3), but great wine and spirits list. Food was good, not great - short ribs a bit dry, but salmon was very good.
