Went with a group of 7 on a Thursday night. Not busy. Overhead speaker drowned out conversation but was turned down when we asked. Server brought drinks and took our order shortly after we arrived, then disappeared. No food appeared for 70 minutes despite many folks appearing busy in the kitchen. Server said only "they're working on it now" when we asked. When food finally arrived, it was hot and well prepared, but we didn't really care anymore. Brought a new meaning to the "slow food" concept!

I made a reservation for 8 the day of, and they were more than happy to accommodate. Our server, Josh, was very courteous in helping us decide between delightful options, and the service was very quick. We stayed to chat, and were never forgotten or ignored. 10/10 will be going again.

Upscale and innovative Native American-inspired pub food---think frybreads, tacos and posole. The flavors are bold and well-developed; definitely a step up from the typical bar fare. The price is accordingly upscale. Figure roughly $15-20 for an entree. Excellent selection of Epic beers and other cocktails and liquor. The service was efficient and friendly, even though we had a larger group. Parking is difficult to find in this busy Sugarhouse neighborhood.

They would not seat us until he was here even though there were plenty of tables. The food took over an hour. They brought out the appetizer with the rest of the food. When we asked politely about the food the waitress was A bit rude. No apologies were made by the management staff about our weight… I would not recommend it for a special occasion

We had a group of 9, so there was that. Each of the group that ordered a burger had a soggy bun and it was cold. Not very edible. When we were ready to go, we waiting about 30 min for the waiter to show up so we could get a check.

The appetizers were delicious and the wait staff was attentive when we first sat down. So I guess I have very mixed reviews.

I'll give it another try with a smaller group.

Food was amazing, but the service still needs to work itself out. We will be back, the food was that good!

Overall Black Sheep was excellent. The only issue that I had was with the service, it was grossly understaffed with only 2 waiters and 1 bartender on staff that night. Overall though our server was accomidating and nice. Would go back again no question.

Service was really slow despite us being one of the only tables in the restaurant. Took us 25 minutes to get our cocktails and like 80 to get our food. Not worth the money.
